You should read up on history. Our nation was founded on economic/tax principles. Taxation without representation and unfair tax burdens are what lit the fire of the American Revolution.
That fire is about to be lit once again.
Obama and his leftist/socialist cronnies are anti-American and are acting against the letter and the spirit of our Constitution.
If it takes a revolution to save our great nation then so be it.

It'll be fun to see how many sheep Fox News can persuade to turn out to this "grass roots" event.(giggle!) A couple thousand per city?

Let's hope so. Conservatives are going to look mighty impotent if this is just a red state tantrum. You already look silly protesting tax rates put into place by President Bush and the former Republican Congress.(After all, no changes made by present management kick in until next fiscal year, or the year after...)

Mr Bush was there to veto any effort to change tax rates after 2006, although he never vetoed spending. And that bank bailout! OMG! But that was when there was a conservative President. And this is now.

At least if it rains, you'll have tea bags for your beverages! And good luck building the American Patriot Party off the momentum of this historic uprising!

Have fun at your tea party! I take my tea with sugar. Maybe that's why I'm so sweet! LOL!!!

Bwahahaha! What a fool. The taxes will be increased and already have on the Poor (huge increase in cig tax).

The tea parties are about the huge problem of Deficit Spending and idiot Obama Increasing the National Debt by 1 Trillion dollars in just 60 Days.

Obama's idiotic plans will DOUBLE the National Debt in 5 years and TRIPLE the national Debt in 10 years.

Despite this terrible news from the CBO, squmbaq Obama says we shouldn't worry about the 5 or 1o year projections which is EXACTLY WHAT THE PREDATORY LENDERS WERE TELLING LOAN APPLICANTS A FEW YEARS AGO!

Sorry about your ciggie taxes going up! Maybe now you'll quit. LOL!!!

Problem is, President Bush and the Republican Congress were not vestal virgins regarding deficit spending. And present tax rates are Bush's. You spin it as about deficit spending, but the pols who will give speeches tomorrow helped create what they will be protesting.

This whole thing is the most poorly thought out, half baked conservative fiasco since the Iraqi occupation. But have a good time nonetheless. Wish I had the crumpets franchise for all you tea sippers. LOL!!!

Oh! Pay your taxes!

Fannie and Fredy have destroyed not only our economy but the worlds.
20 Republicans tried to warn about Fann and Fredd.
Why do you suppose the democrats wouldn't want regulations on Fan and Fred?
Even ex-President Clinton admitted that the Democrats were guilty of destroying Fannie and Freddie... and responsible for the current crisis that threatens to bring the entire U.S. economy to the brink of recession: I think that the responsibility that the Democrats have may rest more in resisting any efforts by the Republicans and the Congress or by me when I was President to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Who were the top recipients of Fannie Mae's money? The top three were:
Chris Dodd (D-CT),
Barack Obama (D-IL)
and John Kerry (D-MA).
And where are these Fannie Mae executives now?
Franklin Raines ($90 million in compensation): Economic Adviser to Barack Obama
Jamie Gorelick ($26 million): Major Democratic Fundraiser
James Johnson ($21 million): Adviser to Barack Obama

What was this bill < http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd... ;? The act would have done the following:

(1) in lieu of the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight of
the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), an
independent Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Agency which shall
have authority over the Federal Home Loan Bank Finance Corporation,
the Federal Home Loan Banks, the Federal National Mortgage
Association (Fannie Mae), and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage
Corporation (Freddie Mac); and (2) the Federal Housing Enterprise Board.

Sets forth operating, administrative, and regulatory provisions of
the Agency, including provisions respecting:(1) assessment
authority; (2) authority to limit nonmission-related assets; (3)
minimum and critical capital levels; (4) risk-based capital test;
(5) capital classifications and undercapitalized enterprises; (6)
enforcement actions and penalties; (7) golden parachutes; and (8)
reporting.

It never made it out of committee. Chris Dodd, then the ranking member of the Banking Committee and now its chair, was in the middle of receiving preferential loan treatment from Countrywide Mortgage, one of the companies gaming the system in the credit crisis. Meanwhile, Barack Obama took hundreds of thousands of dollars from the lobbyists McCain mentions in this speech, making him the #2 recipient of Fannie/Freddie money:

HEATHER NAUERT: Barack Obama attacking John McCain once again on the
economy and the market turmoil today. Our John Gibson has new
information on the Democratic presidential nominee and the mortgage
mess for us now. What have you got John?

JOHN GIBSON: Alright Heather. Lehman Brothers’ collapse is traced
back to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the two big mortgage banks that
got a federal bailout a few weeks ago. Freddie and Fannie used huge
lobbying budgets and political contributions to keep regulators off
their backs. A group called the center for responsive politics keeps
track of which politicians get Fannie and Freddie political
contributions. The top three U.S. Senators getting big Fannie and
Freddie political bucks were democrats and number two is Senator
Barack Obama.

Now, remember, he has only been in the Senate four years but still
managed to grab the number two spot ahead of John Kerry, decades in
the senate, and Chris Dodd who is chairman of the senate banking
committee. Fannie and Freddie have been creations of the
congressional democrats and the Clinton white house, designed to
make mortgages available to more people, and as it turned out, some
people who couldn’t afford them. Fannie and Freddie have also been
places for big Washington democrats to go to work in the
semi-private sector and pocket millions. The Clinton
administration’s white house budget director Franklin Raines ran
Fannie and collected 50 million dollars. Jamie Gurilli, Clinton
Justice Apartment Official, worked for Fannie and took home 26
million dollars. Big Democrat Jim Johnson, recently on Obama’s VP
search committee has hauled in millions from his Fannie Mae C.E.O. job.

Now remember, Obama’s ads and stump speeches attack McCain and
republican policies for the current financial turmoil. It is
demonstrably not Republican policy and worse, it appears the man
attacking McCain, Senator Obama, was at the head of the line when
the piggy’s lined up at the Fannie and Freddie trough for campaign
bucks. Senator Barack Obama, number two on the Fannie/Freddie list
of favored politicians after just four short years in the senate.
Next time you see that ad, you might notice he fails to mention that
part of the Fannie and Freddie problem.

But I'm sure on April 15th the national news will feature an hour long story about Sarah Palin's teenage daughter and her break up with her boyfriend. And the nation's demands for a paternity test!
