That's for sure. Two of the worst presidents in history. A lot of suffering Americans with these two idealists in charge. A lot of high gas prices. They both have half-baked fantasies like a sophomore in college. I don't know how else to explain their non-growth to reality and reason. Their similar malaise is almost unhealthy.

Finally, Mr. Carter and I are in agreement. There
is to much money floating around in our election
process. Big corporations and unions should be limited in their contributions and required to give equally to both parties, resulting in an even
playing field.

Republicans champion an oligarchy. Their mission is a government they can drown in a bathtub. In Congress currently, Republicans are doing the bidding for the Plutocrats in trying to make good on their aim to eliminate the United States Government.

It's a good point but does Money Sway your Vote or does the ACTIONS and RECORD of the Candidates decided who is the best person for the Job?

If Carter wants the good old days back, his party has to get over themselves and help the people.

It really comes down to a bell curve. The Democrats are a minority that only has power with the help of the working class. Democrats are comfortable with themselves as nice, well-paid professionals who never have to leave their suburban existence. They don't remember the days of the robber barons and have abandoned the lessons learned.

It won't change until they change. They can't stop the change so let's kick back and wait until they become part of the team.

Voters should be disgusted by the money being thrown at these candidates.

Also troubling (and yes we should all care) CNBC’s Jim Cramer tweeted that his father — a World War II veteran — would lose the ability to vote under the state voter ID law because he “does not drive, he is elderly, and can’t prove his citizenship.”

Less than seven hours later, the “Mad Money” host tweeted that authorities with Pennsylvania’s transportation office “came directly to the rescue” of his father.

Other voters do not have a "celebrity" to fix these issues in order to vote.

It is a disgrage.

The problem, dearie, is that big big money is spent on deceitful dirty ads that mislead on ACTIONS and RECORD of the Candidates.

Carter was probably one of the most moral presidents of the 20th century. Like obama he inherited a sluggish economy from the Ford administration and runaway inflation. Ford's solution to inflation--he had millions of buttons printed that said WIN--"whip inflation now." Ford was a total dolt and Carter did the best he could. He was clearly superior to the fascist that followed him!

Carter neglected the economy, along with his party. Instead he retreated into diplomatic mysticism, trying to create peace in the Middle East, where nobody wants peace. His party retreated into political correctness, a victim based flavor of Socialism. Finally, voters abandoned them all.

Reagan was far from perfect but he did change the economy. Granted, his solution was deregulation, which resulted in a banking financial crisis. He also relied heavily on military spending which nobody could have predicted would drive the Soviet Union into bankruptcy.

The Democrats should look to FDR for financial examples. The New Deal didn't fix the economy all by itself, but it put a lot of infrastructure in place to enable us to go into WW2 without chaos happening at home.

Don't plan on any recovery within most of our lives. The only reserve left to tap into is environmental deregulation. The U.S. has huge coal reserves but to use them will be an ecological nightmare.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world is far closer to famine and war than we would like to think. We are moving into interesting times. Debating economic theories won't solve the train wreck in progress.
