I spent the night at the Myrtles on Halloween night 2008. I am a skeptic and can honestly say that that place is creepy!! My camera tripod moved on it's own, strange noises all night and one person in my group claimed to have been touched. Footsteps on the stairs as well as many different smokey smells (pipe smoke) occurred all night! In my opinion...it's haunted!!

I am surprised that The Franklin castle in Cleveland, Ohio is not on this list. It is on most other list og most haunted places / houses. I know among ghost hunters it is THE Most Haunted House in the counrty, but as far as I know,, no one has been able to do an investigation.

Is the " Bell Witch of Tennessee" one of the most haunted places in America? I saw a movie about the haunting in 1817-1821 in Robertson County Tennessee. Just curious.

I surely have heard that both the White House & Capitol are haunted. Did you ever know that? you can surely find the info of it thru haunted places in the u.s. I have a relative whom has been in both places & surely felt strange things while there. Surely spooked others when in the White house. Did you ever know that?

My mother's house should be on this list. A 14 year old girl was buried in the backyard of the house in 1860. She haunts the house to this day.

Anyone ever heard of Dudleytown in Cornwall, CT? It was an old colonial settlement in which the entire population went mad and disappeared. The area is off-limits these days, but can be reached by hiking trails in northwest CT. Problem is modern visitors become cursed. Never went myself, though I was always intrigued... cue X-files theme song...

It's off-limits? Is it private property or something? Very interesting story!

You obviously didn`t know what state you were in at the time, because Waverly Hills is in Kentucky, not NC. So either you are lying or just an idiot.
