Heard Harriman didn't know if they wanted to let them release the footage on TV. Said they were scared of how it might make Harriman look. OK seriously? Trust me Harriman needs excitement even if it is a few ghosts.

This is about as stupid a thing our mayor amd leaders can come up with. They need to grow up. They need to spend their time trying to recruit businesses in the city and not play ghostbusters. GROW UP!!!!! No wonder Roane County is the laughing stock of Tennessee.
Whats that noise?!! It must be a ghost!! I better call ghostbusters!!!! I'm scared!!!!!! My city is haunted!!!!!!!!

Totally agree with lol! There's alot more ppl interested in ghosts than u think...if nothing else ppl would pay to see one...you'd be surprised! Look at how much ppl pay on Halloween to go through all the "haunted" attractions each year

I think its pretty "childish" that a mayor of a city would condone something like that. Wait, whats thats noise?!! It must be a ghost!!!!! HIDE!!!!!!!!!! Oh, we are only in Harriman... Instead of recruiting industry and businesses with our time, we are going to recruit ghosts. That will bring jobs back to Harriman!!! Now we just need to find a president like that.. GROW UP!!

I think it's pretty childish for to you to be so simple and narrow minded as to make a statement like this. Take a look at Jonesborough, our oldest town in Tennessee. There is alot of business generated around the "ghost" stories that is a part of that towns history, and has not hurt the local economy one bit. Nobody is asking you to believe in ghosts, so just calm down.

My late husband used to go to the Temperance Building in the late 70's/early 80's at night with friends to hang out. He used to tell me that they would hear strange noises, see strange things, etc. Have I ever seen them or heard them. Nope, but he was as honest as the day is long and I never had any reason to doubt him. Hey, if nothing else Roane County can be in the news for something other than another murder. Just saying...

nightcrawler your exactly right, everytime i've seen roane in news its something negative so why not? Also, I think everyone has seen something unexplainable in their life, so why make it sound like people are crazy for seeing or hearing something unexplained? You know a lot of ppl used to get treated crap cause they said the world was round and not flat and hey they world is round. So who is to say that one day, real proof won't exist!
