I'm seeing all this discussion and all the polls regarding interracial dating and interracial sex. It's not just here, it's everywhere these days. I'm a divorced white woman who has never dated a black man...BUT, I will have to admit that there really is something exciting about the thought of actually going ahead and doing it. I'm womdering how people - white and black - really feel about it. Is this still a serious social taboo, or not?

Interesting thought. I feel much the same way and wondering what comments people will make about this too.

I am a black man and I think its great to a white women step out of her normal "white guy" date.
I have been the first black man for many white women to date and experience sexually which is why all of them still date black men till this day.
i love me some white women...lol

What is it about Divorced WW who want BM. Seriously. 35+ Divorced WW seem to be very open to BM.

It's def not taboo.

But, I find it so weird how people are stuck at looking for one race or a type. Sounds more like a fetish to me.

I'm a white male who is currently dating a black girl and have never had any problems in my family or with the outside public, other than looks here and there. However, I never once said I need to find a black woman, I'm interested in getting a taste.

I just happened to meet her, we clicked and here we are. When I see all the topix about black this, white that, it def seems this is more about a weird fantasy or fetish.

I think it depends a bit on region. From what I gather it is still more of a taboo in the south USA.

It is taboo in certain parts of USA. A clear reflection of area. Places full of educated citizens and/or citizens that have some idea of the values of human life and appreciate/embrace differences like San Francisco and Mpls it is not only NOT taboo but barely noticed (interracial dating) but places like Detroit (highly segregated) or the south (lacking progressive thought) it is "taboo".

In my humble opinion, this world would be so much better off if everyone "crossed" the racial lines a few times in their dating life period.

I luv T-Money. We kind of have something in common. I have dated black women almost exclusively last ten years. Of the fifteen to twenty I was first white guy for all but one. I have run into past gf's out in clubs. About half the time I do they are on a date with a white dude.

Let's have fun breaking these barriers down T-Money!!!

I think that if you really love eachother race shouldn't matter. because love should shows no race or color. speaking from a person who is of a mixed race...

Im a white male whose been married to an Asian descent woman for many years so i see no problem with people going out with people of different races. But it should be because of who they are and not some stereotype. For example who ever said Asian woman are submissive have never met my wife.

no its becoming so common that people dont care anymore but there are alot of those that cant mind thier business and think its wrong. i think it depends on where u live. im from new york i whent out with asian, hispanic and black guys. no one stared really when i was with the hispanic guy. but when i was with the asian guy people where like wtf, some because they aere racist and stuck in the past and some because they dont normally see a black girl with an asian guy. go for it but if u get uncomfertable do what u want

That's cool. I hope I can find someone like you someday. I worry that I won't. Your girlfriend is lucky.
