Daughter wants to go to school without panties

Seems like there are no new issues here. no boys sniffing around & she's still behaving ok. Some posters suggestions are way off the mark. I'm keeping a close eye on it but she doesn't seem to have changed her behaviour at all - just doesn't like underwear. Maybe I was worried about nothing

If she wants to go without panties, she will. Starting out to school wearing panties doesn't mean they will stay on. Panties don't take up much room in a book bag.

Overheard her talking to a friend this week. They didn't know I was listening. Seems like they are both doing it and they are looking out for reactions from boys. They were discussing how short they would be prepared to wear their skirts and my daughter rather surprised me when she told her friend she would like to try a skirt almost at crotch level.

I would never like to admit to her that I was listening in but spoke to her the next day about whether she felt OK knowing boys might sometimes see her goods. She said that she knew some boys tried to look up skirts but she tried to keep covered & didn't seem worried about the odd glimpse. This is of course no change from her reluctance to cover up since she was little.

We'll be having another contraception discussion soon.

Ok in all honesty there are plenty of adults, given the option, would walk around daily without any clothes what-so-ever. They are called nudists and this is perfectly healthy. But in today's society nudism is not a norm, there are places where it is acceptable and places where it is not. You simply have to explain to your daughter in which case it is acceptable and which places it's not.

Let her go to school without panties, i think she will herself feel ashamed of the same during her menstrual periods & even if not she will be forced naturally to wear panties during her menstrual time

girls at any age should not have to wear underwear with any kind of clothing. I am amazed at the hangups people have even about what little girls of three or four years old wear or don't wear underneath their dresses, when they wear dresses. Give me a break! When a pre-school female teacher asks a little girl what she has on under her dress and then proceeds to pick the dress up to have a look...that's sick, to me.

My niece started out just like your daughter. Got pregnant at 16. She would take the panties off as soon as she got to school--a private church based school!! On sleepovers with her girlfriends, boys would be there and mostly oral would go on. At age 14, she was meeting up with older boys she met online--on was AWOL from the Army. Basically, she had a bad case of the "Sexy Snatch" and went to great lengths to satisfy her urges. Now, at age 18, she is married to the baby's father and just barely getting by financially. You have quite a problem and may need professional help with your daughter!! One final question--Does the school uniforms include shorts/pants for the girls?? If not, suggestet it to the adminastrators. Good luck!!

get her on the pill. there's nothing wrong with her wanting sex. she's growing up. but it sounds like she's gonna be one of those hyper-sexed girls that can't get enough. so, get her on the pill asap unless you want a bunch of grand-babies.

I don't see what the big deal is. Many 13 year olds are sexually active today, so even the girls who wear panties know that they can be removed quite quickly! Nothing unusual about teenage girls not wearing panties nowadays.

Well it's true! Our parents make a huge deal about what we wear or don't wear, as if it is really going to make any difference in our sexual behavior. Plenty of girls who wear panties all the time are having loads of sex every single day!

The uniform skirts I've seen are pretty short and even if they weren't we have a lot of wind here in Oklahoma that blow skirts up. Having said that, I wouldn't allow my daughter to go without panties. I'm not a strict mom, but my daughter isn't leaving the house with her ass hanging out. It's just inviting trouble.

Luckily, it's not an issue at my house.
