Daughter wants to go to school without panties

what a contrast .. my daughters liketo wear shorter skirts but they feel uncomfortbale with anyone getting a view of their panties so they wear shorts (those skin tight spandex things ... less revealing or embarasing than panties)

I'm not sure how, but maybe you need to undo some of the attitude you took part in creating. SHe now seems to have no inhibitions .. which can be a real problem as she gets older .. this is just the tip of the iceberg in my opinion.

SO, maybe you need to tell her something that makes her feel embarrased about revealing too much in public. Embarrassement is a natural protective reaction that tells us "we did something not really acceptable" .. it protects us from making ridiculous mistakes.

- maybe she has been dared to do this by some of her freinds????

- Maybe she has a boy she is interested in ... does her school have a recent history of sexual escapades (grade 6's kissing in an empty classrom, or more? Rainbow parties?)) There could be a little school culture going on here ... perhaps there is something going on that causes her to think going pantyless is desirable .. and someone else's warning that she may soon end up pregnant may not be so far fetched.

your wimpy attitude is going to backfire ... she has to know that there are limits to what is acceptable and what is not. SHe has to understand this is not about "you and her", but about what is acceptable in society. SHe has to undersntad that young boys have no self control and can be creul .. if they learn she has no panties they might think she is a slut, bad rumours will start about her in school, boys will sneek up behind her and lift her skirt, and worst case she might get raped.

YOu are her mother, not her best buddy. Protect her.

If his daughter wants to give it up, than her wearing panties don't matter.

Get her on birth control, start preaching the virtues of condoms, tell her you don't want her to get pregnant, and preach the virtue of alternate sex like oral or anal.
