Is there too much sex in novels? [...] "Bodice-ripper" is being nice. Most people would say such writers write porn for women. I write that kind of stuff and judging from readers in the erotic romance genre, the more sex, the better. The kinkier the sex, the better. And even m/m is popular with women just like straight men love to watch two women get it on. If American readers are really all that puritanical, they're ordering their smut wrapped in brown paper downloads.
