The truth being that you are not only a bigot but a poorly educated one with equally poor skills grammar and punctuation. There is no need to hyphen I am and misspelled has two s's. That is humorous, you even misspell the word itself.

Charles, you've had a couple months to think up new arguments against same-sex marriage, and THIS is what you've come up with? Shame on you. This drivel is beneath you. What happened to "ideal family"? Or "orderly procreation"? Those were some really strong arguments, why don't you try those again? I mean, just because they failed miserably the first time doesn't mean they're gonna fail every time, right? Robert

For a short fat gender confused black man, you sure makes a lot of claims you can't back up, right? Robert I am always amused when people ask what harm same-sex marriage will do to normal marriage. They may as well ask how the mating habits of ferrets will harm traditional marriage. That is, both questions are red herrings. The real question is how same-sex marriage would change the culture and values of Western civilization. The acceptance of same-sex marriage is really an abandonment of Judeo-Christian moral values and the tradition upon which Western civilization is based. So, what would be the new values of this new civilization? Is it really something that would be desirable? We are being led into unknown and uncharted territory. Same-sex marriage, and the moral implications that it carries with it cannot be predicted, because it is based on no known historical tradition or example except, perhaps, that of Sodom and Gomorrah. Are Americans really willing to abandon their culture and their history for something so alien to their worldview?

If you don’t understand the above – and I doubt that you will – let me say it simply so that you might understand: You are stupid!

Then you must be constantly amused when your fellow bigots like Shady constantly use the mythical claim that same-sex marriage will some how damage opposite-sex marriage. We live in a constitutional republic, set up by men far smarter than either of us. They, for the most part, did not follow your Judeo-Christian beliefs. Instead of worrying about the downfall of western civilization, why don't you worry about the downfall of your own soul? American culture and history has always been a bumpy road headed for increased civil liberties. Including civil rights for homosexuals just another landmark on our trip. Robert Robert

The real question is how same-sex marriage would change the culture and values of Western civilization.......... So far, in the places it's legal, it hasn't changed a thing, other than providing legal recognition and protection for families. Face it, Charlie, the ONLY reason that you don't want the "harm" issue address, is because you know there is none. No straight person will turn gay. The sky won't fall. Civilization will not fall if MORE families are more secure. The ONLY change is the change for the better for the families involved.

Charlie Feather wrote: <quoted text> Oh, yeah! The constitution is a faith based document. I'm going to start calling these type of arguments "I+I". Inaccurate and irrelevant. 1. The Constitution isn't faith based. It's a secular document. It even prevents the establishment of a religion by congress. 2. Even if every Amendment praised Jesus to high heaven, that wouldn't prove there was a god.
