I have seen some of the worse and best horror movies you could think of. From the exorcist to dead alive.-from the human cenipede to august underground -from razorback to grizzly-from cannibal holocaust to poltergiest -from the shuttered room to magic. Now what are the scariest movies or your favorite thrillers that you ever seen. What would you watch this halloween season and what would you recommend to watch ?

I am sure if this qualifies...it's a thriller and certainly plenty scary for men who are contemplating having a extra-marital affair...LOL

"Fatal Attraction"...starring Glen Close and Michael Douglas (1987)

I can remember watching the dvd The Birds. My brothers got it out one holidays and let me watch it with them. I was so scared, especially when all the cups that were hanging by their handles were broken. My mother had a similar system in the kitchen and I associated this scene with our kitchen.

even today as an adult, I still get an uneasy feeling when more than three of four birds gather ...

I love Labyrinth with David Bowie, but haven't seen it in ages. Especially the feces creek. I pretend my dirty crack is that creek sometimes.

Horrors of The Black Museum (1959)
Saw it again recently, looks a bit dated now, but it was in colour.
Loved the spiked binoculars!

Quatermass and The Pit (1967).
Aka, "Five Million Years to Earth".
The final ethereal apparition is quite something in special effects!
Especially for the era it was made, nearly 50 years ago now!

Makes these other suggestions seem like child's play doesn't it?

But the daddy of them all was Children of The Damned!(1964 b/w)
And there's not a horror scene in it.
Instead a true window into the human soul!
Where the real horrors lie!!
It's on You Tube as well, 89 minutes.
Only sequel I ever saw that so transcended its precursor, Village of The Damned,(1960).
It's still useful though to see the original as well, first.
Lulls you into a false sense of happy endings!
And a reasonable film in its own right!

They still haven't made a good frankenstein remake. I still rather watch the old ones then the modern remakes.speaking of remakes I hated the remake of evil dead
