Majority will be somewhere between tip and 1/4 exposed. A minority will have an overhang and some others will be permanently retracted (people frequently comment on this last option but I've never come across it).

Your biggest challenge will be getting enough uncircumcised guys on here to get any results!

Why do you think that? The majority of guys are uncircumcised, except in a few places like the states and israel.

Most who post in this forum are North Americans, and a large majority of middle class North Americans are cut. The Moslem world is cut. Most of your fellow Aussies over age 35-40 are cut.
Many who are uncut take no interest in this survey. A close curiosity about just how long the foreskin is, is rather an American thing, because Americans don't grow up seeing variety in foreskins. That variety the rest of the wold takes for granted.

Because the majority who post here are from the USA where in some areas, a girl will never have seen a foreskin.

Most adult American women over 30-35, say, will never have seen Mr Uncut unless they marry a foreigner or have a fling with a foreign student while at varsity. Adult American women with busy lives, who have no time for sex talk on the web, have never given the foreskin any thought. Younger women are shaking up this complacency.

For all those women who are not familiar with foreskin, take a look at this.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreskin

The "anteater" at the top right is not my cup of tea but I wouldnt mind getting my hands on the bottom left one in "additional images" (erect with foreskin retracted)!

And some pretty sexy stuff on this one!

Agreed; the main Wikipedia example (the "anteater") is too long to be typical of the adult.

Geocities is trying hard to get across something essential that still photos cannot get across: how the foreskin is a movable part. This is a fact that heaps of American women have no experience of. The photography isn't very appealing, but the idea comes across. Being male, I don't have a good idea of how hot these moving images are to women.

It can be expected that a frisky woman will want to play with her partner's penis, especially the first time they come together. If the foreskin is present, it will be a key player in this play, ha-ha! The foreskin may not matter for vaginal, but is surely matters for foreplay. No woman can call herself sophisticated unless she has taken things in hand, and taken an uncut man all the way to climax.

Mr Seymour, you tend to keep telling us about how unenlightened US women are about foreskins (which from what I read on hear, seems to be true) but give us little insight as a penis owner yourself. Are you going to give us a bit of a description of your little fella and in particular your foreskin!?!

I am uncut with 95% coverage. Have never had any mobility or health problems with being uncut. After a swim, I am extra small and so have overhang. When flaccid, I am small and unthreatening. Am definitely a grower. I don't think that I am as big when hard as when I was your age. My wife tells me my male bits are common garden, and I believe her.

But growing up uncut in the USA in the 1950s and 60s was emotionally very difficult. I have written thousands of words about that, which I am willing to share with you as an Email attachment. I fully understand why you would refuse to post your Email address in this forum, though.

Sorry, I don't ahre email details with people here, nothing personal. When you were growing up, if you felt uncomfortable with the difference, did you not just pull your foreskin back to conform?

Starting at age 9 or 10, I pulled back every time I peed, and so the other boys stopped "taking the mickey" about "the weird dick that looks like a worm." I remained scared to death in sports changing rooms, until I discovered, when I was 15, that if I pulled it back, it would stay back for a few minutes. After my 10th birthday, no boy ever sussed out that I was intact. I should add that before attending varsity, only one peer revealed in conversation to me that they understood cut vs. intact. In the world of my childhood, there were no Jews or Muslims. Almost all boys were cut, but almost no parents said anything about it to their boys. I think that in those days, a lot of wholesome USA boys did not learn that they were surgically altered until they were age 16 or even older.

There remained one more hill to climb: intimacy with women. What to say? When to say it? What to do if she said "that is sooo gross. There's gotta be a lot of germs under there." Before 1980, there was no support in print for being an uncircumcised American. Books on baby rearing and family health, columnists in daily newspapers, etc., all said that circ was healthier. Because of this dilemma, I did not lose my virginity until I was 37, to the woman I married. She has no issues with my foreskin, because I was her 5th or 6th intact lover (they were, like me, all born outside of the USA).

A lot of intellectual and forward thinking people conclude if anyone should suffer from emotional problems, it is the millions of Americans who were cut, by parents too prudish to talk about it. Indeed, some American men are very upset about being cut for no good medical reason. The forward thinking add that I am 100% normal, so I should be free of emotional problems. Sadly, life and human nature are not that simple...

It is heaps easier for an intact dude to pass as cut, than for a circumcised dude to pass for intact. The latter is the dilemma of European Jewish boys, when they began attending secondary schools with gentile boys in the 19th century. What happened? A fair number of European Jews moved to circumcising countries, namely Israel and the USA. Some attend religious schools. But a fair number of European Jews no longer circumcise, simply in order to spare their sons humiliation while they're of school age.

A lot of women have heaps of common sense about this issue. So much so that I much prefer letting my hair down with women. But women can be a bit puzzled. You see, women differ a lot by what they have under their bikinis. Start with the shape, size, and colour of breasts and nipples. And what to do to the pubes? Porn suggests that every woman's vulva may be unique. As a result, women take differences in private parts in stride, especially women over, say, 30. I wish American men were so wise...

Hey dude, I think you have a hang-up about your foreskin big-time! You comment on the variety of female bits. D1cks come in just as big a range of shapes and sizes, foreskin is just one part of this. In fact, amongst both circumcised and uncircumcised guys there is a massive variation in how much the skin covers the head, how much bunching there is behind it and how tight the skin is on the shaft. Just accept it and enjoy it.

Relive your childhood life as an intact boy in the USA, and then resume this conversation.

I accept myself fully, and have no medical or sexual problems. I've been married for years, and am raising several children.

In the UK, there are some cut Moslem boys in every comprehensive school. About 3-5% of British boys are cut in childhood because of a real or imagined health problem. So cut and uncut is perhaps something UK young people can take in stride. I can't say for sure because I most certainly did not grow up in the UK.

But the typical young American of the 50 years ago was incapable of the wisdom and common sense you have expressed. If you've only seen cut all your life, and your parents have not explained cut and uncut to you, seeing uncut for the first time can be a very weird experience. Uncut looks deformed, earth-worm like, undignified. American high school boys call it "doggie dick."

Curiously, except for "medical" websites such as these, all foreskin imagery on the web is aimed at gay men. I'm a str8 male and should not comment on female desire, but here goes anyway. A moving foreskin should make it hotter for you ladies. It ought to be suggestive to the max.

Never seen an uncircumcised guy or even thought about it. The unrolling of the skin is pretty hot, I'd fancy giving it a try. I guess when it comes down to it they probably both work as well as each other?

Up to now I think I assumed that if I have a son I would automatically have him done, having seen this I would think carefully and I think Id need a good reason to do it.
