I think you are in need of serious help. Are you that insecure with your relationship; with the woman in your life??? It's a sad fact of life, women need to have these check ups done. They are about as much fun as going to the dentist; and having root canal.
Then why do some women become stimulated during these type of exams? Root Canals aren't any fun, and don't deal with sexual organs!

Why do women REALLY go male gynos is beyond my understanding, when there are female gynos?????
Is there REALLY a difference between MALE DOCTOR and A REGULAR MALE they are both males at the end of the day
I dont think a NORMAL WOMAN would lie down spread her legs and let A REGULAR MALE put his fingers in HER and touch her breasts, basically do all the things that a husband does to his wife
How is it OK for a DOCTOR- MALE to do the same when there is a choice of going to a FEMALE DOCTOR
I understand the MEDICAL SIDE OF THIS that it is not for pleasure its for MEDICAL REASONS but women have a choice to go to FEMALE DOCTORS
Would a couple be OK with going to some guy having a wife undress spread her legs and having him look and touch and insert his fingers in her vagina , I highly doubt it unless you are into that kind of stuff
Unless you are one of these guys who get off by having their wifes being in that situation
I find it very disturbing to have a DOCTOR MALE but still male see your wife's most sacred place that you would never allow ANY OTHER MALE do to your wife.
Why do women find it OK and use an excuse that he is a Doctor - he is A MALE and he is doing things to you that if some other MAle did would be grounds for divorce
i THINK ITS A FETISH OF SOME SORT TO GO TO A MALE GYNO
PLEASE I REALLY WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM A WOMAN
kudos!

Seriously, every woman on here basically confirmed that the exam is sexual by nature and that male gynecologists also confirm my worst suspicions. they should not be in this practice. I'm realizing there is a lot of bs out on the internet in regard to getting woman and girls into the stirrups for these pointless exams. Money for the gynos, and for the male gynos pleasure at your humiliation and apparently the husbands denial as well.

Thanks to all the ladies on here for sexualizing this ridiculous practice and thus continuing this for your daughters and so forth. You are not changing the system by continuing to see male doctors. Think of your daughters in the hands of one of these doctors that "play".

I've been following this for about one month, some of the posts are truthful, (gigi) and some are just denial, (Karen). I'm 48 and in my second marriage. I was like so many other women who actually get arroused during my exam but denied it like crazy. I decided to talk this over with my husband and asked him to go with me for a complete physical exam. In the exam room just getting undressed and putting on that paper gown is a trun on. Long story short, if you are a normal female that enjoys sex, you get arroused during a pelvic exam. Having my husband watching the Dr. examine me is very exciting for both of us. We are now trying different sexual lifestyles and enjoy sex more than ever. If you (ladies) are naked with your feet up in sturrips and a male looking at you and touching your vagina and don't get arroused, you have a problem. Get over it, naked, legs spread, a man touching you, = SEX. I hope this post helps those of you that feel the same as I do, but just don't want to admit your true feelings find this a comfort.

Now this thread is just ludicrous…LOL. Granted, you have fringe folks everywhere (both physicians and patients) but the GYN is just providing a medical procedure… no more, no less. Trust me, I golf with several… of course some of the stories are hilarious, but for the most part… they somewhat lament performing the pelvic.

Think about it… I know most who post on this forum probably watch too much porn, but hello… the majority of women receiving the exams are NOT cute little honey pots with shaved pubes…LOL.

Generally, the only women who “enjoy” or seemingly enjoy the exam are either wallet chasers,(want to marry a doctor) or those that generally don’t get any attention down there… and any attention is better than none.

Anything to the contrary is a function of insecure and possessive men who can’t bear the thought of a wife or GF having their genitals exposed to anyone other than themselves.

LOL, the joke is on you buddy. Your post truly reflects a guy who's wife has given him a b/s line a mile wide and a foot deep. If you think for one second that your wife isn't getting arroused ask her why she goes to a male doc. Just for grins some time take her out for drinks right after she's had a gyn exam. Boy are you in for a surprise....

How do you even know? Technically you shouldn't be in there with her. What kind of facility does she go to?

Ummm sweetie, I'd rather go to a male gyne over a female, not because it "turns" me on, lmao, but because a female gyne tends to sympathize with you more by warming up the 'tools' and cooing at you when she performs whatever procedure. I don't like being asked over and over if I'm sure I'm okay and not in any pain. Just get it over with as fast as possible, thanks.

P.S. How anyone can be turned on by a pap smear is beyond me.

Ever talk to a gynecologist? Seen one, you seen 'em all basically.

In their practice they come across many different people and not all are 'pretty' to look at. Some have things growing there, some are oozing stuff, others smell, so on and so forth. It's not all what you weird people think it's cracked up to be.

Feel free to keep chatting amoungst yourselves though; I find it very entertaining what some men assume.

Thanks for the “support” Jessie. Sometimes it amazes me the ignorance of folks who post based on libidinal thought rather than rational thought… Or what they perceive. LOL…I have six sisters, a wife, and many female friends… and they all talk very openly about things like this…

I'm not trying to change your mind about this or any subject, however, it might be something for you to reconsider based on facts. Several of our friends (couples) were having a few drinks and relaxing around our pool. As the tops starting coming off the conversation soon turned to sex. One of the girls came up with a game of secret votes on 10 subjects. Out of 6 women only one voted that dr. visits didn't turn her on. The other 5 voted that it did. You can think what ever you like, I could care less. However, when 5 out of 6 40 something women say they like it, I tend to believe them, not some guy like yourself.

Based on facts…LOL I think you need to re-read your post. I think your sampling…LOL is something less than scientific… and those polled probably do not represent “most women.”

While there is certainly nothing wrong with it… most women typically do not remove tops at a friend’s pool (well I guess it does depend on the amount of wine.) But I’m certain that a certain percentage would… maybe 10%- 20%. So of your 5 out of 6 statistic is somewhat less than overwhelming.

But you are right… it really is a mute point because both of our opinions are based on personal experience… i.e., conversations that we have had with women. The majority of the one’s that you have spoken with get some form of arousal from a pelvic examination and the majority of conversations I have had reflected something quite different.

Women should have more respect for themselves than submitting to "non-emergent" male exams. Granted, there may be some good male doctors out there, but some have crossed the line. So, why even take the chance? Once violated, you can't take it back. Isn't one's relationship or marriage worth trying to protect.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aquarius

There simply aren't enough hours in the day today for you to do everything that's on your list, so concentrate on the priorities. Don't feel guilty about what's been left out and start to worry about it. This isn't an easy day because you're feeling pressured and anxious, so don't expect too much from yourself. There's less energy than usual, which doesn't help.
