According to this poll, more than half of you ( a MAJORITY) enjoy engaging in anal sex.

Yet when most people are asked why they oppose homosexuality, and/or hate gay people, a majority of people cite anal sex.

Now I'm gay and have been out of the closet for over 30 years. And from my personal experience, only about 1/3 of gay men engage in anal sex. So you str8 people are engaging in more than we are.

Do I detect HYPOCRISY here ???

I tend to agree with you. My older brother is gay and I've seen him take a lot of homophobic BS. I notice the trend that most hetero porn has anal in it! A double standard indeed!!!

btw, from my personal experience, I'd say that 1/3 to 1/2 of str8 guys have also (or continue to do so) engaged in oral sex with a guy. Many str8 guys enjoy oral sex with a guy (gay or str8), but seem to engage in anal sex only with a female.

AND NO. Having sex with someone of the same gender does NOT make you gay or TURN you gay.

Amongst the straight men I have known in my life, I would be shocked to learn that as many as 1/3 of them did oral with another guy. Of course, people don't usualy reveal such a thing, but my guess would have been around 10% or 15%... which is the estimated proportion of bisexual men nowadays.

ALso, what about age? I know the under 30 crowd is much more open about bisexuality. I hear it is almost a fad????

Willingly and repeatedly enjoying sex with the SAME gender DOES mean you are bisexual or gay.

Making a claim that 1/3 to 1/2 of all heterosexual men have engaged in oral sex, and continue to do so, appears like you are getting carried away. Possibly your perspective is skewed, as a gay man propositioning other men for sex. A heterosexual man or woman, may see things very differently.

The estimated number of men who are gay, bisexual etc. is about......15-20% in that area, since about 10% of men who identify as straight admit to having gay sex, and then about 6-10% of people are thought to be gay. But then you have to add the closet case males/DL men/ex-gays (gay men in denial) and prison guys, since about 4% of men in this country admit to being gay, then you double that 4 number to the real number of true gay men. Also men who are openly bisexual, but maybe haven't been with a guy in a long time, and their situations. So overall, just by doing all that, it's would likely be around a 1/3d already at least. It is way more common than people would think. 80% of the men I've been with identify as straight, no joke. And that is in all fields, construction, a police officer, business men, homophobic guys.

Homosexuality is pretty well accepted with people about 30 and under, and yes, bisexuality is much more common in that age group today. It's a fad with girls, a lot because of the Katy Perry song "I kissed a girl" and other songs and porn and men, basically all the attention on the subject has gotten more people into it.
