What do you think about that Soldier in Playgirl?

What does everybody think about that soldier who posed for this month's Playgirl?

It's supposed to be a protest of some sort.

Do you think it works as a protest?

I don't. But I think he's cute anyway.

The only thing about his look that I'm not thrilled about are his overly trimmed pubic hair. I know that's common among the under 30 set, but I don't understand it. In my humble opinion he'd look better with a full bush of natural pubes.

And another thing, I just realized that the you see more if you click on the pictures in the gallery, and to my shock I found that he's erect in one of them!

I haven't seen a Playgirl in years, but when did they start showing that! I'm not offended, just surprised.

Hee hee, he is erect in one of them. Thanks for mentioning that Sylvia. ;) I went back and checked it out as soon I read your post. I didn't they would have showed an erection either, but I'm glad they did.:) It looks really nice and inviting.

But yeah I agree that this extreme pube trimming trend is no damn good.

And out-right shaving is even worse. There was a model in Playboy last year who was supposed to be a Paris Hilton look-alike. Like a lot of models and porn stars these days, she was shaved bald. I thought this made her like she was 12.

I found it very disturbing. But obviously other people like it. All in all the trend leaves me muttering like the old fogie that I am, "What the hells wrong with these kids today!"

(In fact, you'll find plenty of forums here in Human Sexuality that address the shaving and trimming issue. It's a hotly debated topic.)

I found out that blogger Ed Gruberman has been in a fight with this soldier (Stewart Zamudio) at least since last September, calling him "treasonous" for posting a video telling people not to enlist.

To wear the uniform of those who fight to keep that little Amendment I mentioned above and disgrace the uniform in question in order to further a political agenda that brings dishonor to the courage of the bravest job segment in the country is a disgrace and makes me want to puke. Just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean you should. Zamudio is a traitor to his country and his brothers in uniform and nothing will change that in my eyes. If he questioned the military then he should have never joined. He's a disgusting view of some of the left in this country. Feel free to disagree with the government, hell I do! But don't try to make your point stick with the uniform of the armed service. Because his argument is so weak he tried to speak with the loudest voice. Fail.

hold on there, ed. let me say i respect the hell out of you for your services. and this may not have been the best way for that guy to make his point. but i have to question your statement of, "But don't try to make your point stick with the uniform of the armed service."

are you saying soldiers shouldn't try and stand up for their individual integrity? that they should just go along and follow orders the orders of their commanders? while i agree that having too many chiefs would ruin an operation, i still feel that a man has the right, if not the duty to raise questions if he doesn't agree with said operation.
there's been too much evil spread by "simply following orders," in my view. people have been killed because of it. innocent people.
