Good topic question!!
Sperm live only a few hours if ejaculated outside the body. If a man ejaculates inside a woman, the sperm can live for 3 to 5 days due to the proper temperature and moisture.

Men can produce a semen sample either at home and deliver it to a lab or bank within 30-45 minutes, or in the sperm bank/clinic collection rooms they provide. Once you provide a sample, the lab always performs a semen analysis to determine the sperm counts and motility. Semen specimens are frozen in liquid nitrogen at a temperature of -196C using a special chemical agent to protect the sperm from damage during freezing and thawing. Approximately 50% or more of the sperm will survive cryogenic storage. The fertility of the surviving sperm cells is not reduced during the freezing/thawing process. Cryopreserved semen will remain viable for an indefinite amount of time. It is reported that there are cases where the sperm has been stored for 20 years before thawing and successful insemination.

That depends upon where you put them.

Is there someplace you would like to put them?
