Well, then they'd better not charge me when I go pick up my refills. Or I'll be pissed.

It's about time the RCC learned it does not rule the world, nor make decisions for everybody.

Also, a pelvic exam isn't any longer needed to get b.c., though some male docs will tell you, you need one. You hear that, just walk out the door. You only need your b.p. Checked and are concerned if your a smocker.

RE: China calls Vatican 'unreasonable' in bishop spat - AP
..... If it is true that the popes are believed to represent God, have 2-way communications with God, are supposed to be kings of the kings (and of other rulers) of all countries on this planet, and therefore try to keep interfering via the Nuncios (the Vatican's ambassadors) in policies and practices of ALL countries, then I am not surprised at all that the Chinese government doesn't want the Vatican to interfere in appointments. However if Chinese citizens are free to be members of non-China communities, religious or not) such as the Roman Catholics, then the leaders of those communities should be entitled to determine the grade and titles of any of their members in China. And China is entitled to show any and all who is the boss in China; not any of the popes, nor God, nor (whoever)..

..... Shirelle, don't expect the RCC to change any time soon!
..... By the way, if insurance companies are ordered by the government to add additional coverage, then that should/must include also a provision for higher premiums to be collected despite what existing contracts may say.

Quittner - good post. The claim that popes have some kind of two-way connection/correspondence with God is insane - they don't have that ability any more than anyone else. Sometimes I wonder if they're trying to sound ridiculous. Why didn't God tell "His" representatives on earth that children were being raped? And this latest pope is so nuts I can't take anything he says seriously. The guy is evil and trouble.

Where did you get the idea that popes haves some sort of direct communication with God?????? It certainly is not an understanding of the Church

Went to a male doc for B.C., told me I needed a pelvic and breast exam in order to get B.C. Told me to go behind the curtain , take my clothes off and put on the gown and get up on the table. I said no way. He said, no pelvic , no b.c. I said , no b.c. from you. I went to a woman doctor who took my b.p. (actually her nurse did. Asked if I smoked, no, gave me prescription, smiled and said, see ya next year. She's my NEW doctor. :)

That was a bit of sarcasm. BUT - Catholics believe the Pope and the Magisterium do receive "revelations".

Women really do.We just need to be turned on more slowly.Foreplay, kissing, touchi ng,sucking, massage;all while seeing a full erection.Don't forgret intercourse during her period. It greatly reduces her pain and discomfort;and you will never be harder.Enjoy, that's what it's for?

Shirelle,Regardless, the issue is that every Child should be Wanted, not an accident.Birth control will always be the responsibility of the female.Abortion will never be accepted by Society as a whole. All girls, women should have birth control hormones;and morning after pill on hand.Condoms are good for making 'water balloons.'Unwanted children are usually abused and neglected;and daughters are almost always the main target.

Sorry You are incorrect. Yes pelvic exams are needed as part of the gyn exam - Ask your doctor or NP.

I do not want my tax dollars to pay for your BC refills and think you should learn some responsibility for your actions.
Think of all of the women who want children and want to adopt. Women are not 1 size fits all. Where are the public benefits for them? Great you don't want to be a parent.....
You can buy birth control at Rite aid or Walmart with your own money. Go for it....isn't it your personal business ? Why make it mine?
Why the entitlement?
Newsflash: Obama and the democrats are on the way out!!!!!
Best of luck to you!
