Homosexual behavior due to genetics and environmental factors

There is research being conducted on the genetic aspect, and I feel it's freakish because it will only open the door to more genetic engineering or designer babies, giving potential parents the option to screen for potential (I say potential, because genetics isn't about 100% guarantees, it's about probabilities) homosexuality. It's scary.

"curing" a lisp is not gonna cure the deep pyschological factors and conditions that predispose one to being gay - if even possible to cure such genetic factors. the genetic factors that predispose one to being gay are obvious: opposite sex traits. but some pyschological traits can also be inherited to a degree, even though they are also strongly influenced by enviroment (shyness, sexual insecurity, libido, emotional insecurity, etc.). but psychological factors, far more than external "homosexual" traits go into the choice or settling when it comes to orientation - and also into the subsequent embrace of this choice (pride, stubborness).
