Being from Illinois and having the option to vote for him for Senator back in '04, I refused.

I didn't buy his "CHANGE/HOPE" bullshit then, and I sure as hell didn't buy it in '08 for Prez.

I knew he was a radical Leftist that had too much Chicago activitst in him to be a effective President.

He is a combo of Bill Ayers and Rev. Wright.

He spends so much time traveling the globe, sucking up to dictators and shunning our friends.-

Yeah, I would've. At least they would have done what is actually necessary to rebound and economy. Like lowering taxes and cutting regulations.

An economy thrives when people have freedom. When over taxed and regulated to death, it stops people from taking investment risks...in the form of creating jobs and starting businesses. Obama is doing everything that inhibits this action. Why strive to make money when Obama is just going to take it from you?

Count me and my husband in on that regret. From what I hear from friends neighbors and relatives its almost unanimous. We were contributing members of the DNC and we got our new membership card a few days ago with the request for our annual fee. We cut the cards up and sent them back in the postage paid envelopes. A message they MIGHT understand.? Its insane! The coruption in DC is overwhelming too. Sharpen those pitchforks for 2010.

There are several Repubs who are corrupt and yet It seems if you count Acorn supporters and tax cheats etc. the Democrats are inching ahead. There seems to be a lot of that going around lately that blindly voted for him.

The failure of the '08 campaign lies with the Main Stream Media. ie. ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/MS-NBC. They bought into the whole "Yes We Can" montra and didn't even think once to question his policy ideas...they were all caught up in his character.

The only fair network was FoxNews. Say what you will about them, They're the only ones who didn't get tingley feelings running down their legs when Obama spoke.

And if you want proof, it's all in ratings. Since the election, ratings for all the pro-Obama networks are tanking...generally down ~35% on an on-going basis. While FoxNews is UP ~35% over the same periods. And this is because they're the only ones looking at Obama in a critical eye. The rest of the networks are in bed with Obama.

Fortunatly, however, the shoes are about to come off of this honeymoon. When Helen Thomas gets in the face of the White House Press Sec., you know things are starting to turn sour.
