Im bisexual, and I somewhat agree with you, but at the same time I somewhat disagree. My own personal belief is that almost everyone in the world is bi. Now, I think that being bisexual isnt a 50/50 atrraction. I think anything that is not 100 percent gay or straight is bisexual. Many of my friends classify themselves as gay or straight. Yet, many of them have privately admitted to me that they have thought of being with a guy or thought of being with another girl, or a girl might say that she thinks girls are attractive and she would like to kiss one, but she wouldnt go so far as sex. Still, she calls herself straight, simply because she says she has a MUCH greater attraction to guys. I think that she is bi even though she has no desire to have sex with girls because, there is still that attraction to girls. Also, most people that r straight have a much greater preference to the opposite sex. This preference is sooo great that they either do not acknowledge the attraction to the same sex, or are in denial and do not want to admit to themselves that they are gay. I find this to be especially true in those who have been raised to think that being gay lesbian or bi is wrong. Also, alot of the time those who appear to be homophobic turn out to be gay lesbian or bi. It is because they are insecure and unsure about their own sexuality and they are afraid to admit to themselves that they are gay or bi so they think that if they bash others who are gay or bi, then people wont question them being straight, which makes them feel straight. So yea, ANY attraction or sexual thought about the same sex can make u gay/bi. Therefore, I believe that only a small percentage of the population is "100 percent straight/gay".

While I tend to agree with you that people are curious, I would not call them bi-sexual. I would consider them to be bi-curious. Sometimes they will have the experience and know that they are not interested in going further or having it repeated. It would not mean that they do not consider someone of the same sex attractive, simply that it would stop there.

I can admire looks... but it doesn't mean that I want to be intimate with that person. So while I might agree that there is a larger portion of the population that is bi, I would have to add that it would include the bi-curious as well. Bi curious are simply people that have not crossed the boundries. Perhaps if they did, they would not find the bi side all that desireable.

I also agree, people are bi if they are more attracted to one sex than the other... if they will commit to intimacy with a person of the same sex (even though they are more likely to do so with the opposite sex) they are still bi. They just don't want the lable.

I'm not gay,i have sex with men,but i don't find men attractive.
Sex with men is fun for me,and my GF is cool with it as she sleeps with women.
BUT i would'nt say i'm bi,i'm open minded and enjoy sex with boths sexes.
However my GF admits to be attracted to women,and when she goes out at the weekends she comes home with a girl she likes and she gets alot of sexual pleasure as do i.
And she finds it a turn on to see me with another man.
So i would like to think there are people who are Bi,gay,striaght and then openminded.

I consider myself monosexual. I like that word "expressed". I worry that many people omit that factor when claiming a particular sexual category. I have had attraction to both sexes, but one is ambiguous, but the other is unequivocal.
