In the new testament - unique to Christians - Jesus himself actually contradicts the lex talionis:

Why can't you "Scott haters" ever post something factual?

The Peterson case has been fascinating reading.

If he had no case, it would just go away. Instead, the more people find out just how this case is not what it was presented to be on TV, the more people are realizing that this very public trial is different when you peel back the facade.

If anyone can explain the Aponte tip to me and why that isn't exonerating evidence, I'm willing to listen.
Until then there are just too many facts that to not add up. The witnesses who saw her Dec. 24th--6 of them--- who have not, in fact, been discredited and who provided detailed descriptions of Laci and the dog--two of them saw her struggling with the dog, which Laci's mother testified was typical of that pooch; the experts who testified that the baby was full term (not premature as he would have been if killed Dec 24); the complete absence of any kind of cadaver scent in the house, warehouse, boat, all those places police said were crime scenes where he supposedly transported her body. All those dogs and not one picks up a cadaver scent?

The number of people who think Peterson is guilty is evidence of nothing but the power of our media to portray only selected facts and in the process manipulate public opinion. Which should worry people for far more reasons than this case.

I am not a hater....but when it comes to him and what he did, it is as close as I ever will come. So Bev, who gave you a crystal ball? You never know what will happen with Scott's appeal. There are sooo many errors his chances are excellent that he will get a reversal. Maybe it will even be thrown out.
If Amber (fly by night) was not allowed on the stand I believe Scott would definitely be a free man today. Cheating on your doesn't make a person a murderer. I wonder how many jurors,da's,attorneys, judges, and people sitting in the courtroom with nothing but nasty things to say about Scott and his family have cheated on their wives, husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends.
Amber the "Fly by night" certainly cheated. She was a pig and that's all Scott wanted. Some diversity as so many men and women do. Laci was aware that Scott cheated on her. I know she wasn't stupid but to some women it isn't the end of the world. I also truly believe that Amber knew alot more that she let on. Her sister lived in Modesto too. I never believed that Scott is some kind of kinky sex addict as the media and the da made him out to be.Scott is a very handsome guy in my own opinion and I think when women looked at him it boosted his ego. He is also very charismatic and that isn't put on. He is especially caring about other people, especially to his family. I know Scott and he isn't anything at all like the media and others portrayed him to be. Allison
