2. Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases, or cheating others for personal profit or pleasure
3. Impulsivity or failure to plan ahead

Being a mental health and criminal justice major let me say in order to be classified as a sociopath you must meet ALL of those definitions not just some. And also let me say this if someone wants to consider Scott a sociopath or insane than he is sitting in the wrong place he should be in a mental institution don't on death row

Purcell Police Chief David Tompkins said investigators believe Underwood sexually assaulted the little girl after he killed her and planned to eat the corpse.

According to a police affidavit, Underwood confessed to killing Jamie. Meat tenderizer and barbecue skewers found in his apartment were intended for the little girl, Kuykendall said.

People who knew Underwood described him Sunday as a quiet, "boring" and seemingly trustworthy young man. His mother, who also lives in Purcell, called him a "wonderful boy."

"This is something that I don't know where it came from," Connie Underwood said through tears in a brief telephone interview Sunday with The Associated Press. "He was always a wonderful boy.

Just showing how no one would ever suspect someone, his mother said he was "a wonderful boy" other's said he was trustworthy. Yet now he's a murderer.....just like Scott Peterson.

You seem to have missed the difference in these two cases. There appears to be some ACTUAL evidence against Underwood -- like a body in his apartment. There was no ACTUAL evidence against Peterson -- just a lunatic theory that didn't fit any of the facts and wouldn't fool anyone with a brain -- which is why they had to get three people off the jury by any means possible.

No, they don't. He is a No on all 7, and you need at least three Yes answers. Why don't you read Crier's book?

2. Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases, or cheating others for personal profit or pleasure

Lied to AND deceived Amber for pleasure, multiple times, for months

Lied to his mother

Lied to Sharon Rocha

Used the name, "Jacquline Peterson" to purchase Mercedes

Seems like it fit #2 to me

YOU seemed to have missed the point. People can state all day long how nice of a guy Scott is, that they would never expect him to do such a horrible act. But you can NOT really KNOW someone. A seemingly "nice guy" can turn into a murderer.

And the girls body was found in his apartment yes.....just as Laci and Conner's bodies were found 90 miles from home, where Scott proved he was.

Almost every celebrity lies to avoid the media, checking into hotels under false names. They also, on occasion, disguise themselves or have someone who looks like them draw off the media so they can escape. The media don't normally put up billboards or have billboard trucks all of which have negative comments about celebrities. Also, the media don't usually stand outside celebrities' homes screaming at them with bullhorns. Unless every celebrity is a sociopath then deceptions of any kind to avoid the press are irrelevant.

As for Frey, show me any married man whose wife doesn't know he is cheating and whose 'girfriend' doesn't know he is married and who can do all of that without telling lies, at least by omission.

So your examples are useless. Show me that he routinely lied under all circumstances even knowing it would hurt others. The truth is he told lies, sometimes, to avoid hurting others.

He is the definition of a sociophile. Crier's book proved it.

Wow talk about talking in circles and making up excuses. Geez oh pete are you crazy.....A witness could come forth this afternoon and say, I was there and I saw Scott do it, and had it on video tape, and you would turn it this way and turn it that way to find some way to say the tape was a fake. Just as you said before, even if Scott admitted it, you wouldn't believe him. Talk about talking to a BRICK wall
I'm not wasting any more breath or time on you. Time will tell, and SHOW you are wrong.
Then we will have the last laugh. I can wait.

Evidence is evidence. There was none for guilt and a mountain for innocence. Witnesses have lied before - plenty did in this trial - so I wouldn't trust any magic 'witness' without verification. I wouldn't believe Scott even if he said he did it. Facts don't lie.

The difference is I COULD be convinced by facts. You cannot see past your pathological hatred, brewed by idiots in the media. I'll stick to facts.

This is so darn entertaining. The only ones who got caught, on tape and on TV interviews/film and on the witness stand lying over and over and over again was Scott Peterson and his Ma & Pa. More documented FACT. And if ya want me to start cut & pasting, just say the word.

He lied to an easy broad about sex. Not evidence of murder. Not guilty.

The only EASY BROAD in this picture is Jackie Peterson. Scott Peterson lied about everything. He lied about lying. He lied from day one..........which is why he is on death row, and is STAYING on death row.

Why is being a sociopath considered a bad thing? I am damn proud to be one, we are simply people that are aware of the fact they are better than everyone else. We are not held back by stupid human emotions. Why is it such a bad thing to be emotionless? Emotion is weak, there is no need to look out for others. So cut the "it's human nature" shit, I really don't want to hear it. The world we live in is cruel, and if you can't learn to protect yourself from those superior to you, then maybe you don't deserve to grace our presence. So don't expect everyone to be remorseful when your the one ignorant enough to feel in the first place.

Do you know someone who is a real 'sociopath'?
Dr Lecter wrote: "Maddoff is a dangerous 'psychopath' and he needs to be permanently incapacitated."
ie, michaelJLohan;aka lindsay lohan's ex-father....... in that thinks he is smarter and better than anyone else. He is the scum of the earth. & parasite. He's missing integrity, character & ethics.
With a pattern, & a history of total disregard for the law, or another persons rights or requests (daughter(s), ex-wife, ex girlfriend, Jon Gosslin, Susan H, NY investors fraud, etc.).
They actually lie so much they start to believe their own lies.

Who's a Sociopath?
Not all Sociopaths are Serial Killers, but,
All Serial Killers are Sociopaths.
Some have years & years of practice, ruining lives of "friends" and family before being caught. The damages (financial, emotional, physical) can be catastrophic before being "found out",&/or successfully apprehended.
For example-- Madoff.
Sociopath?Michael Lohan.
Successful, intelligent, handsome, charismatic, con artist, BUT lacked a conscience.
With a total disregard to societal rules,
& laws were seen as a mere inconvenience to circumbvent.
Ethics & Integrity were nonexistent, consequences were irrelevant........
Nonetheless he successfully gained the TRUST of billions$ of people's lifelong savings.
Sociopaths do not discriminate. Their targets (victims) could be their parents, their children, a spouse, "friends". In fact the more vulnerable an individual (elderly, sick, frail), or the more Ethical (trustworthy) individuals are usually the most effected.

I agree with you. IF he is a sociopath, he really does need to be in a mental institution. I don't see him as a sociopath and hope he eventually gets another trial.
