The city of Joliet wasted a lot of money on the "greenway". The use of the word "bucolic" and "arboretum" in the Herald News article is quite a stretch. It mostly looks overgrown and simply hides the view of the old prison, etc. It's not like a lot of people walk through it, and I rarely see anyone walking there. Hopefully, the city can spend money to be of help to people rather than line the pockets of whoever would have gotten the job to "fix" the greenway.
