A federal judge has ordered a man who faced deportation to remain behind bars in the U.S. on charges of participating in a deadly riot at a prison for illegal immigrants.

She is worried about him fleeing the country before they have a chance to deport him?

What?"

If this guy is released on bail he will run back to Mexico before he will serve time in a federal prison. First he spends years in prison and then he'll be deported.
