Rooms 101 is a SCAM - do not book-
We booked a vacation to Williamsburg. VA through Rooms 101 for a 2 room cond at Parkview. We paid $513.00 on April 2nd for a Vacation date of June 27. They Billed the MasterCard on April 2nd.

We agreed to all the promotional things, and we recieved our confirmation letter.
I, my motherinlaw, My fatherinlaw, and my wife all scheduled time off from work. Both paid and unpaid.

Five days before our vacation, They called and said our hotel was overbooked, and could they move us to a 1 room hotel room. I said NO, they then offered another condo (not as nice or as close)at another resort. We reluctantly agreed. They than called the next day and said that that room was also overbooked. The only thing the offered was a refund, and an overnight weekend on them at some other time. But we would have to do the whole timeshare thing that weekend. They were rude, They were caught in lies about why they couldn't fulfill there obligation, and they offered no other options but to refund our money. We booked all the way back in April, and they cancel 4 days before.

I had the unfortunate experience of finding Rooms 101 on a google search for a Disney package. The price was inclusive of lodging and Epcot tickets and seemed just the ticket. After calling to reserve I was told this package required a "short" one hour time share presentation attendance. Well, ok, in this economy a timeshare is the last thing on my list but saving some money was the first on my list so after being told I had a 7 day cancellation notice policy I booked. Two days later I received a confirmation for a non refundable package at a different facility than described and a list of fine print requirements which included "if found not to be eligible" a $200 charge would be added to the undiscounted nightly charges! WHOA! I called to question this booking I was suckered into and was interrupted every few words I tried to say. I would begin to speak and also be put on hold! I was then put with the agent I booked with who actually YELLED at me! The pressure these agents must be under to display such poor customer service skills! Bottom-line? Rooms 101 is a consumer's nightmare and they certainly give time share businesses a bad name. Do yourself a favor and book a Disney hotel and deal with actual time share units personally, not with this dissapointing company.

I know this thread is old, but in case others look into Rooms101 (as I am doing, and now staying faaar away...) The BBB has given them an F - Rooms 101 is under the name of MBA Marketing. Stay away. Lots of complaints.

Does anyone know if they refund the money if say irs 50 to hold it....or if they scam you out of more. Im very sick to my stomach that they have so many horrible reviews and yet they did my husband this way last night. Our age was the problem and so on n so on so my husband agreed to the 50 to hold it and now its so iffy. I just want to know how bad this is goin to turn out for us now that he did that. We have two kids and just wanted to get away and have a good time as a family now im not sure how bad this will set us back. If you have this problem please let me know

@custcare rooms 101.Horrible experience with a rep named KATY. Sad,but I knew a motherly type lady named Katy......this one is FAR from ANY mother type. The very beginning of the conversation, she was rude. I said very upbeat, Hi, glad to talk to you! She said in a "I'm having a bad day mood", You want to book a vacation..like to say "I have not time for your upbeat happiness." She said the ad listed was not correct, it is over $60 more than what they have advertised...even for a vacation 8 months out when I wanted it. She was very sharp "tongued" and spoke with an attitude, would cut me off when I would speak. Apparently, she doesn't like her job anymore, therefore pass it on to someone who would. Im glad she showed her true nasty colors before I booked and would be in some situations listed above.

6. Also your paperwork may include an income requirement on the paperwork that is higher than what you were asked about on the phone during the sales call and the paperwork will let you know that if you don't meet the qaulifications or are determined to be unqaulified you will be charged additional monies to cover the full cost of the stay. It will also state the hotel or resort may charge additional fee at checkin although rooms101 may not tell you this over the phone or deny there are additional expenses. Be prepared to have the hotel or resort place a hold on your card for any incedentals.

7. Rooms101.com has a B on the Better Business Bureau. Their record can be found at http://www.bbb.org/central-florida/business-r... or you can always go the Orlando's BBB at www.centralflorida.bbb.org/ and search for Rooms101.com .

I learned all of this through my recent experience with them but I enjoyed myself at the Resort. The Wyndham Cypress Palms was great and the staff was excellent down to making sure we had the correct accomodations that we paid for. The sales presentation guy was very nice, although the time went over and the manager didn't seem to care that after we had attended their presentation and been with them for 2 hours we had to leave to meet up with someone else.

we are sorry that after you called on day of arrival during the race week and after looking over on the net the choices than calling us back to book and after arriving finding another place last minute to help during the night and the next day trying to find you something you would write this type of response. You had a wonderful time at cocoa beach according to your face book page as well ..(which that was only the beach we could find during the Daytona 500) we also see you had tickets to the race.. we are sorry you feel that we couldn't help you under the last minute booking ,wed sure wish you would have called us or any company in advance. we hope planning in advance does help you in the future

I came to read reviews and I have to say that after reading the response from Pamela Page, that was the nail that ultimately realizes I do not want to book with this company. Customer Service is a very important part of ones job. Clearly this company lacks Good representatives and business ethics.
