It is my hope that the case will be reopened. A beloved star like Natalie deserves justice. I've read this book and it's fascinating. I highly recommend it. It's very thorough and responsible in questioning how the case was handled. The original detectives in charge of the case are interviewed. One of them is furious to find out what was withheld, and the other stands by how he handled it, but reveals that he let Wagner go simply he felt grieving could not equal guilt. I'm sure police know much, much better than that these days. The article above is actually a really good summary of the book's contents and the questions it raises.

Like an overdue income tax refund, the Wood family may finally achieve the denied justice they were withheld. Whenever forensic pathologists blithly declare a fatality 'an accident', there's a smokescreen brewing. Not hinting of malfeasance in the coronor's office, but rather a missing piece of the puzzle, that nails the coffin lid shut, and homicide an absolute. Let's hope the district attorney and LA county detectives don't drop the ball the second time around.

About two years ago on Facebook, someone only posing as Lana Wood, which I only discovered tonight, sent me sweet, empathetic messages in return to mine to her. Then, on her March Pisces birthday, I sent her a birthday message relaying eagerness to know her birthday presents. She returned it, confirming getting a paper flower from her grandson Max age six. However, tonight, I researched the year of her grandson Max's birth, discovering it 2002, meaning he definitely wouldn't have been six in 2011. Later, one night, I also tried chatting with supposed Lana Wood. She didn't reply though, eventually getting off, like she was angry with what she felt my rudeness. A little while later after that, after a Facebook post she'd written that although unable to chat with her fans, she loved us all. I wrote underneath that our understanding, and loving her too. She didn't like that though, writing underneath implementing not just loving me, but us ALL, as she put it, then beneath that, although not using my name, compared me to another fan, writing her name, and that meaning unlike me, she could never hurt anyone, as she was too sweet.

Although absolutely furious with the unknown person deceiving me, posing as Lana Wood on Facebook, I'm also very relieved, genuinely believing the real Lana Wood wouldn't be so unprofessional to humiliate anyone for kindness, by rudely comparing them to other fans on Facebook, as if just liking them better.
