After-shingles pain: Significant impact on elderly

JoAnn Jones first noticed the pain in her upper right shoulder and back. She initially went to her chiropractor, thinking it was related to lower back pain, but as the pain grew over the next five days, she knew it was something more serious.

I had shingles in October of 2011. I still have pain from my waist down at times. Mostly in my feet and legs. I had shingles on both sides of my body from my tailbone to the bottom of my feet. I cannot get rid of the ache and pins and needles feeling through out those areas. It keeps from working much even at home. I am 59 and wondering how long will I have this? No one knows... I would love some suggestions if anyone has some.
