This is great news for women!!!! Abortionists now have to have a local doctor that is available to women should an emergency arise.

Most women would already have a local doctor, idiot. Not to mention that there are local hospitals as well.

How is this great news for women? You think they are incapable of finding a doctor on their own?

Doctors provide abortions are...wait for it...real doctors, doorstop. CPC workers, however, are not, and shouldn't provide medical misinformation to coerce women into giving birth. Don't you agree?

"Doctors provide abortions are...wait for it...real doctors,"

Then they should have no problem with things like having admitting privileges at a local hospital, and a doctor on call if a problem arises with one of their patients.

I always have.

No other doctor is REQUIRED to find alternative doctors if they are not in town, idiot. They might suggest someone if you ask. Otherwise, most doctors assume you can find the freaking hospital if you try. Only someone with NO respect for women would presume them to be that helpless and stupid.

Kay-kay, I don't follow anyone around and I'm not even sure who you are referring to. Unlike you, I DO think for myself. I don't need a church or the PLM to tell me what to think or do.

Most doctors have admitting privileges at any hospitals they apply to. A woman who is having distress doesn't HAVE to go to where her doctor has such privileges. You really don't know znything about how these things work, do you?

BTW--many abortion providers ALSO deliver babies in hospitals.

Really, that's funny, every doctor that I have ever been associated with has another doctor "on call" when they are away.

"Only someone with NO respect for women would presume them to be that helpless and stupid."

I'm sure that doctor's will appreciate knowing that they are assuming that their patients are helpless and stupid everytime the arrange for coverage (or does that only apply to women?).

You are the idiot.

So what's the problem with the abortionist applying to one in the city where they are performing abortions?

"A woman who is having distress doesn't HAVE to go to where her doctor has such privileges."

I never said that they did.

You are the one talking out of their ass.

Yea, so what's your point.

Why is it that proaborts have a problem with anything that is done to protect women?

Then don't have one, idiot. But stay the hell out of the decisions other women make--they are none of your business.

Your heart, btw, needs to learn the definition of murder, although that is asking a lot from a hunk of muscle tissue.

Yes, many do have "on call" physicians. But many do not, and they are not LEGALLY REQUIRED to do so.

Most doctors know that a patient--especially a pregnant or post-pregnant patient--cannot wait to get an appointment with the "on call" doctor when something goes seriously wrong. The on call doctor is a back-up for non-serious, non-emergency problems. Anything more than that and the woman should be going to the hospital, and I don't think it is asking too much to know where the nearest hospital to you is.

Nothing in this bill protects women. Nothing at all.

Applying for privilege at a hospital usually requires some form of residence, and the doctor may not believe the costs involved in the process are worth it if they don't live in the area.
