While the National Security Agency (NSA) was collecting our phone call numbers, these CROOKS were stealing confidential information.

Instead of PROTECTING citizens FROM having their privacy COMPROMISED, NSA chose instead to INVADE our privacy.

Put the NSA on this job of PROTECTING our privacy/security and leave Congress to actually co-ordinate EFFECTIVELY RUNNING THE COUNTRY.

in fact, eleanor, it was teh Secret Service that informed Target first that they had been hacked.

they had noticed chatter on threads they were monitoring (well, someone was monitoring, but it was the SS that informed Target Corp. about it) and informed Target that they had most likely been hacked. it would have gone on how much longer if the gov't wasn't there protecting us?

ouch! your entire premise proven faulty!

And by the time Congress gets around dillying around with legislation, the NSA could already be at work PROTECTING our privacy/security.

or they could pass laws that penalize companies with sub par security measures. Target should be the ones fined here as it was their sub par security that allowed this to happen.

We have a President that is giving the Muslim Brotherhood, and Alqaeda the middle east, and our lawmakers are concerned about Target. Leave Target alone, and get some help for those people we are sacrificing to the great Islam experiment.

as always, cat, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

don't think you understand anything about the real world...you clearly do not..anything you think is true, think the opposite and that is most likely the truth....

No.

It's nearly impossible to tell.

I try very hard, but liberals have destroyed every industry in America.
