I applaud this father for having initiatives. To look out for his sons well being. There is no reason this behavior has to be accepted .the message it sends is it will not be tolerated. When i was 12 to 13 i was bullied in Elyria ohio. I was small only son. The psychological toll it takes is great. Also my parents let an uncle fondle me . Parents that look out for emotional/ physical well being should be recognized. Many times i went to school terrified. In usa this shouldn't happen .!the emotional/ psychological toll it took on me as youngster still is with me at 52. Don't be so quick to criticize this responsible parent.the failure is of the ones who don't take action as in my case. As for the uncle who constantly touched me.i never remembered until my mid forties. Alabama felony, michigan misdemeanor. The uncle at 83 in 2012 died before i had chance to get to alabama to write report on his sorry self! Again this father is doing the correct thing when things weren't taken care of to begin with. Law enforcement many times gets things done better than school personnel.
