If Gary Shinnamon goes on trial for a March 4 crash that killed a child, the most damning evidence against him isn't likely to come from victims or an eyewitness.

Black box recorders have been in most North American-built autos since the late 1990s.

Too bad nobody else has raised their voices to object to the privacy invasiveness....and now people (most of whom don't know about black boxes in cars) are jumping at the chance to save a few dollars on their car insurance in exchange for total auto surveillance. Shortsighted and eager to believe the promotional bumpy. No wonder our privacy and liberties are being stripped away with impunity: Not enough people are watching, caring, or speaking up for their own security.
