You are correct just as Geraldine Ferraro was correct when she got booted from Hillary's campaign staff. Some people can't handle the truth. They have to twist everything to where it fits the decision they've already made. The worst thing in the world people can do is just what the Obamaians are doing. They have decided to vote for him and now they are trying to twist the facts and logic to fit what you've already decided.

Mo Lubee wrote: We are seeing a strange condition of racial Americana play itself out on these threads. The younger generation is ready to accept all skin color as equals, and considers their own racially bigoted parents as somewhat odd social dinosaurs. The die-hard racists among us are now mostly older curmudgeons, under-educated whites, or if younger live in houses delivered on wheels. This ever-shrinking minority of bigoted gene-pool dregs has become increasingly bitter and strident, as they see the very foundation blocks of their ignorant beliefs being utterly destroyed by the acceptance of the candidacy of Barack Obama by main-street America. Americans are going to unite, black and white, to elect America's first black President in November. This will send a message that will speak loudly of equality and opportunity in American society for Americans of all color, and it will spell the death knell of racial bigotry as a viable viewpoint. And the bigots know it. You call us die hard racist and bigots because we don't vote for a candidate of another color. You evidently disregard the fact or refuse to admit to the fact that the candidate of color is THE MOST LIBERAL (CONFIRMED BY EVALUATION AGENCIES) SENATOR in the senate, less than a full term as senator, questionable connections with radical extreamist such as Rev Wright, flip-flops on issues that he takes a stand on, is considered arrogent by many, and on and on. If you want to call us those names because we don't agree with what you've put up as a candidate then the only you leave for us to call you is an idiot! And futrthermore, if you think you're going to shame us (falsely I might add) into going along with Obama just so we don't get called those names means you're a bigger idiot than I refered to in the previous paragraph. I will not be wrongly shamed into voting for someone who does not deserve the position! I have a feeling we would all be called bigots and racist no matter if we voted for him or not because we're not black. And in your twisted mind you think if we aren't black then we have to racist.

It just puzzles me, as a person who voted for Bush twice, that my fellow Republicans haven't come to terms with the disaster we caused America with our votes.
Just look at the results; 5000 kids killed in a war that should never have been fought, housing industry down the tubes, foreclosures all over the place, food costs way up, gas prices staggering, unemplotment climbing, with Chinese goods being sold everywhere... to our unemployed factory workers.
Look, I know we are Republicans, but when is enough... enough? Bush policies have brought our country to the brink of fiscal disaster, we build bridges, roads and schools in Iraq, while ours crumble before our eyes. Our factory workers are having to compete with Chinese slave labor as Chinese factories and foundries burn soft coal.
Look around you; the price of milk for your kids is higher than the gas you can barely afford. The only people happy with this mess are the Big Oil fat cats and Chinese politicians thast hate us.
We desperately need change big time, and I don't care if it's left-wing or right-wing, Republican or Democrat.
It may not work, it may already be too late, but I'm voting for Barack Obama because he offers an approach that is the opposite to the foolhardy policies we have disasterously followed for 8 long years.
Barack may not be the answer, but I know McCain intends to keep us on the Bush course that has just about destroyed us already.
I implore my fellow Republicans; look within your hearts, look at the for-sale signs on your neighbors lawns. Look at how we have descended from that "shining city on a hill" into the ignominy of our present condition.
Look at where we have been, at where we are, and you'll know in your heart you don't want to go where John McCain intends to take us.
Take off your Republican blinders, wake up and smell the coffee... if you can afford it.

BOYCOTT OBAMA

Why doesn't the media release the information regarding "where" a lot of the campaign money has come from? A little known fact is that OBAMA and his fundraisers set up an online contribution website that allows "anybody" to make a campaign contribution regardless what country they live in. Another disturbing fact is that a lot of the "maximum" $2,300.00 contributions are coming from differenet (unconfirmed) names yet the same credit cardnumbers are being used and a simple verification would show that these contributions are coming from the Middle East. - that is illegal! And so is the way his fundraisers are using state taxpayers money to pay for the fuel and transportation costs at his home states expense. The only good thing here is that regardless of the poles/surveys, the majority of his supporters won't even show up to vote, or are not able to vote beause they have felony records and/or on welfare and won't bother trying to arrance transportation - because they are just plain lazy. He (OABAMA) will NOT be the next President of the United States and the media ought to be ashamed of themselves for the way they have behaved this election year.

I wished there was some way of knowing for sure just how stupid Obama thinks we are. Headlines today says his "prayer notes" that he "accidently" (?) left at the prayer wall were "leaked" (?) to the press.
How stupid! I'm outraged that he would play a trick like this with our politics. This isn't some Hollywood movie bit. He knew what he was doing as well as those who "leaked" the notes out.
He's playing us like fiddle and there's many who would sing any song he told them to. This guy disgusts me to the core! He's both arrogant and obnoxious.
