Calling out states' rights hypocrites

If only the federal government would leave state governments alone, this country would be 50 individual paradises where the laws truly reflect the will of the people.

Wh a bunch of lef wing bullshit. he second amendment is in the bill of rights. That is the LAW OF THE LAND and not the states. We the people give power to the states and the federal goverment THROUGH THE BILL OF RIGHTS. Florida's FDLE does anextensive background chec on all CCW permits. Someone who would not pass PA's check would not pass a background check in Florida.

Criminals and or bad people ignore weak or strong gun control laws.

National Reciprocity won't become law anyway because GOA eliminated the possibility of compromise.

You are absolutely correct (note that in PA it is a License To Carry Firearm (LTCF) and not a CCW). The LTCF is required for having a loaded gun in the car and to carry concealed (open carry is legal in PA with the exception of Philly). The permit is also required to open carry in Philly.

The real issue here is that Philly does not follow PA law and will deny LTCF for no valid reason. The resident will then obtain a permit from Florida. The elected "officials" from Philly do not like that and have been raising a stink. This topic was raised again when a Philly police officer was shot and killed by an individual who was denied a PA LTCF and then received a Florida permit. The facts that the Florida permit requirements are more strict than PA, and that the murderer could have killed the officer without a permit seem to be lost on the elected "officials".

On a side note - Kane attempted to temper her gun grabing mindset during the recent election, but as expected she is off to the races and she has not even been sworn in.

Why would you need National Reciprocity for a constitutional right ?

My cop loving ass says the states need to abide by the Constitution without further legislation.

I thought the GOA was in favor of it , what gives.

The GOA is correct on that.

It is also called Constitutional Carry.

I could not give a rats azz what a lame bunch of Congressmen who do not uphold the Constitution are going to do when calling for what is right and worth fighting for.

There was a day when women could not vote and black and yellow skinned people were thought to be less then human and catholics were treated like dogs and our Congress of the day did nothing about it but to support it.

The good fight should never be lost to surrender.

No, the GOA will ensure National Reciprocity will never happen. We all know National Constitutional Carry will never happen because it doesn't have ANY chance of passing, only National Reciprocity does.

It's almost 2013, yet national reciprocity has been around since before February 2011:

If any form of national cc is created, GOA will ensure we will all be dead by then.
