So much dumb in this article. Isnt Jonesboro in a "dry" county? You guys are being controled by Agenda 21. I read your newspaper everyday & find at least one or two articles where I can plainly see how you folks are controlled & it blows my mind that nobody is fighting back in your area. If you know of Agenda 21, then you will see how you are controlled. You guys must wake up, if its not already too late!

They make it sound like it will be the end of the world if cannabis is legalized. It's amazing how gullible some people are.

The only potential health danger from marijuana is obesity. When you're high an extra large supreme pizza doesn't stand a chance. Then throw in some ice cold beer and Nirvana has been achieved.

You only have to read how stupid the pot heads are to know at least one of the dangers of smoking mj -- reduced mental acuity. They don't care about medical uses of weed, only want to have taxpayers buying it for them. That used to bother me. Like stupid parents letting their kids play in drainage ditches and in the streets and ride illegal, unlicensed vehicles (4 wheelers) in traffic, but then I got to seeing how many die doing it and realized they're making the world a better place by accelerating the extinction of the lower life forms. Party on, fools. Nobody cares when you die and you're making life better for decent people.

I am glad that Medical Marijuana is available in my state. I loathe the thought taking toxic opiates for pain management. I am not there yet with pain as I have MS but when it comes, I would rather take a nontoxic option since I am already taking other drugs for my condition. I have smoked dope and really don't care for the 'high' but to each their own. I do know that it really helps with pain and nausea for starters, so as a medicine it is of great need. JMO.

The Supreme Court allowed them to get it on the ballot so as far as I am concerned it should be passed. No one has ever died from usage and to be honest someone is more likely to die from peanut allergies than marijuana smoking. No one has ever gotten stoned and beat their wife or children. Side effects are hungry, happy, and sleepy. If people that are ill can benefit from it let it go let them legalize and enjoy the economical boost that this will generate. Ignorance is the product of a narrow mind. Think back to the prohibition of alcohol and it is harmful but yet it is now legalized because the government figuered how to tax it and get their cut. This whole crap with pot originated from Nixon's "war on drugs" and continued into the 80's with Nancy Reagen's "Just say No" campaigne. Do some research before bashing.

I had a good friend that had MS pretty bad & I would get her pot & she was so happy that she would cry & I did nothing but pick it up & take it to her down the street. Seeing her face light up, knowing she was going to be able to rest, eat & not puke it up is pleanty enough for me to vote YES on Nov 6th.

Obama wants to legalize and the DARE program is in support of it so why waste valuable time, money and resources arresting people and busting people for marijuana. Vote YES!

Obama does NOT want to legalize cannabis. In fact he has sicced dea thugs on peaceful dispensaries across the US that were complying with state law. In most cases the raids were para military and property was needlessly destroyed. Even worse dea thugs have caused many pain patients to suffer needlessly by creating artificial pain med shortages. on this issue obama has been worse than bush! Legitimate patients are suffering and he could care less as long as he gets elected. He got my vote once but that was the last time!

Why don't you do a little research and find out how much the failed war on drugs cost American tax payers per year. You know since you're all worried about your tax dollars and all.
