these guys are amateur at best. i saw them with a hand scribbled sign yelling at cars n route thirty. upon closer inspection, the building is in disrepair (green paint doesnt make things clean), and the portfolios are pathetic.
-
the 'artists' are former scratchers, with no shop experience, and the work, like mentioned above, as amateur at best.
do yourself a favor, and check out the other shops in town before EVER decided to go here. It would be a hugeeeee mistake!

Believe the hype!!

if you ever have to get a tattoo done in chambersburg - go here. The artists seem to have a ton of fans from the radio and the foot traffic I saw here. I was remarkably impressed. You will be too!

I saw the same hand scribbled sign as well. I drove past them last week and they were screaming something at cars. This to me is not very inviting and very unprofessional. If I were looking for a tattoo this would be the last place I would ever go. Just for their behavior. It doesn't instill any confidence in their abilities or work ethic.

First off, this is an amazing, clean, friendly (the list can go on and on) establishment. Chubbs the owner is great and is very helpful with giving you exactly what you want.I went to FOO at FatCat for just some basic script writing...his script is beautiful and elegant- he did a great job.

MANY FOLKS AROUND HERE AND MANY OTHER PLACES KNOW ME AND KNOW I DONT DEAL WITH ASSHOLES OR HALF STEPPIN MOFOS SO WHEN I TELL YA THESE GUYS ARE GOOD YOU CAN TAKE IT TO THE DAMN BANK. I WAS THERE WHEN THEY FIRST GOT THE BUILDING AND THE WHOLE TIME THEY WORKED THEIR ASSES OFF TO CLEAN , REPAIR, PAINT AND MAKE THIS INTO A GREAT TATTOO SHOP. THE ARTISTS ARE ALL TOP NOTCH AND ARE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO. CHUBBS, FOO, AND BRIAN ARE GOOD PEOPLE. THEY ARE FRIENDLY AND EAGER TO MAKE SURE ALL THEIR CUSTOMERS HAVE AN ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE WITH EACH VISIT. THE OTHER TWO ARTISTS WINK AND TRUMP , I DONT KNOW PERSONALLY BUT HAVE SEEN BOTH OF THEIR WORK AND THEY ARE AWESOME. SO ANYWAY RATHER THAN READ OTHERS OPINIONS AND ACCEPT THEM VISIT THE SHOP AND CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF AND MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION. WHETHER YOU WANT A TATTOO OR JUST WANT TO CHECK OUT THE PLACE. VISIT ...YOU MIGHT BE SURPRISED JUST HOW NICE IT IS.....GET INKED.......LOVE YA FOO.

They did my tattoo and it is a scar. I am so unhappy with this tattoo i will be stuck with for the rest of my life. It is so ugly. It is the worst tattoo i have ever had! I will have to get it fixed by another artist. He said put Medema (scar cream) on it and see if that helps reduce the scar tissue.
Their tattoos are overpriced. I wish I hadn't gotten a tattoo there. Legacy and On Point are much better and more professional. Fat Cat is a joke.

It looks clean from the road, but once you go in, you can tell it was a hack job. Also, I have had community members tell me that the Fat Cat staff go into local establishments and swear and behave rudely and otherwise display unprofessional bad behavior in public. They are getting a bad reputation in the community. Beware!

first of all a tattoo shop shouldnt have any bad comments because that would mean they are doin bad tattoos, which is apparent from thier work posted. the only people on here saying good things are thier friends. you can tell simply that they have no knowledge of how to tattoo, horrible work and horribly unprofessional. to scar people with no remorse, and to keep tattooing and saying you're good is just not good for the community. please close before you ruin more bodies

I was recently on 1-81 going south (12-17-2012) when I was passed by lowered black rat rod type car with black tinted windows. The back window had a green advertisement for Fat Cat Tattoo. No big deal being passed BUT it happened to be a very rainy day and the driver was swerving in and out of traffic. It's drivers like this this that cause accidents. Where is the concern for the safety of others on the road? I personally have 8 tattoos. And because of this moron (owner, employee, paid advertiser) I will not go to Fat Cat and I will not recommend them to anyone. Think about it, to drive that recklessly, really? Not sure I would trust them.
