Yes it is common sense and is sure to work and that is why liberals oppose it. Take away the jobs and free health care and free school we give illegals and they will leave.

Attrition works 100%!!! Yet, it is never offered as an option when polling. The recent UC Berkley poll said that 67% of Americans wanted a pathway to citizenship. Yeah, when you only give two options, mass deportation (expense not true!) or a pathway.

They never say cut off benefits and they will self deport! For once I agree with BOTH Ruben and Mitt!!!

Has Ruben entered rehab? He usually encourages policies that attract illegal aliens.
It is true that the pro illegal groups always claim that those who oppose illegal immigration in addition to all being racists want to round up illegal aliens and deport them. In fact we don't want to see that because it would be a waste of time and money. All we need to do is start enforcing the laws we have in place and there will be nothing to gain by comming here illegally.

Your anti-illegal position is solely based on racism also. It's no wonder why you dislike him.

Ruben has a louder voice than all the bigots on Topix. It's no wonder why you see lots of baby cries here.

Quite funny in a way.

Prior to any benefits being handed out in pre 1930's era, people from Mexico came here by the drives and for one reason... the jobs.

So you think they'll all go home simply because you no longer give them food stamps....?

Funny... that's really funny.

It's always been, the freebies, the risk, the hidden agenda's of these people, they love hiding in plain sight. The Magnet's. The sex, at early age....all with no accountability whatsoever. That's why they come, hide and stay un-Americanized .When our government and church's teach them to stand on their own two feet, only then, will they leave. They do not want to be Americans......

You missed the point stupido! This includes NOT hiring, get it?!!!

Oh, and guess what we did when we found wet backs in the 30's? Yeah, you got it, they were hung and drug across the desert. I don't think they came over in "drives"... lol

Actually... you don't get it.

Hiring illegals is illegal yet the USA has about 7 million employed illegal aliens in the USA.

So as I stated before, prior to any hand-me-outs being provided to anyone in the USA non-citizens came here in the "droves". You gotta remember, the roaring 20's encouraged lots of immigration back then the fill the booming economy.

Much of that immigration came from Mexico. Most were not Citizens.

So the moral of the story here is that so long as employers hire illegal aliens... they'll continue to come and this is something that you or government will never be able to really stop.

What are you talking about? Where is this magical land with free healthcare and school?

Unless they are living in a tent somewhere, undocumented people pay the same property and school taxes as everybody else. They either pay it directly or they pay it indirectly through their landlord.

Nobody has ever been able to explain how the free healthcare myth works. Everybody who visits an ER gets a bill.

If they wanted free healthcare they could get it in Mexico where it is Constitutionally guaranteed.

They finally lowered the boom on apartment landlords and rental agency's in Utah. There have been evictions by the droves in certain area's, as rental agency's are fined and lose their licenses. If this reasoning continues, they will have to leave. The shelter's are already full, and job's have been drying up for a long time as employers are being sited and fined.... so long boy's!!!

No, they will all self-deport once we have a president that believes in his oath of office and enforces our employment laws. It is illegal to hire illegal aliens. They are not legally entitled to work in America, let alone even be here. Sooner or later the American people will have a President that has their interests in mind instead of pandering to criminals for votes. Once our employment laws are strictly enforced, we will witness illegals self-deporting by the millions. And that could be just around the corner!

Let's be real, Cut off social services, Deny Medical Services, Deny Education all who are here Illegally which are supported on the the American taxpayers dime. Fine and jail employers who exploit these Illegals. Renters need to stop renting to Illegals or be Jailed and fine. America First. This will take care of the Illegal Immigration issue.

Lets be real... you have some SCOTUS rulings, lower court rulings, Federal & State laws and a Constitutional amendment to over turn before any of that happens.

Right now, you need bipartisan support for any of the above to occur and you just don't have that.
