Cain, conservatives look foolish blaming scandal on race

Nov 5, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: CNN

If you're Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Brent Bozell, Sean Hannity, and yes, even Herman Cain, you must feel pretty stupid for trying to fool the American people by blaming the reporting on sexual harassment complaints against the GOP presidential candidate on his race.

Actually, he would have been in his late forties and early fifties when this materialized which is about the same period his wife would have experienced menopause.
So it's his wife's fault?

It's the fault of Mandingo journalism, it's not a news story since it came from the Obama campaign.

This just shows Herman Cain is human, he'd be a far better president than Barack Obama.

They're just saying that because all Democrats do. Democrats cannot talk about current issues, they name call and slander.

Um, arguably there is quite a lot to criticize about Cain's positions on the issues, or should I say, lack of knowldge of them? I mean, he doesn't even read his newspaper, so how does he expect to run the country? So his inability to act like a gentleman is just icing on the cake.

The fact the he seems to play dumb about very basic questions on foreign policy should give anyone pause.

And then the truly disingenuous are trying to confuse the masses by painting his appearance of knowing nothing as being a non-issue, and being accused of being an habitual harasser as somehow the Democrats doing.

Cain was actually in his late 40's to his early 50's when these incidents would have occurred.

Agreed.

It is an easy diversion from the real issues that plague the country as we will again have the attention spent on fascinating things like BJs and obscenities. And be sure and rush the kiddies away from the TV since the President is now the pervert in chief, we wouldn't want the little ones to hear about the filth from the White House.

You originally said that he was in his 40's or 50's AND that his wife was going through menopause, at which point I asked you if it was his WIFE'S fault. But it is noted that this time you aren't mentioning his wife's menopause. I am still not sure why you would have mentioned that. BTW, "40 or 50" is ALSO an age where a man is assumed to have fully matured...

Unlike you, I don't have to repeat myself. Moreover, your pathetic political idolatry has overridden anyone's ordinary common sense, that is, if you ever had one.

The time period for these incidents spanned a period when Cain was in his late 40's to his early 50's which also happens to be a period when Cain's wife experienced the change of life or menopause.

How in the living fuck did you deduce from these comments that I was blaming his wife? I never did and you keep repeating yourself which is even more telling.

When Cain's wife was going through menopause, it could have been a contributing factor to these incidents as it also likely means he wasn't getting as much action from the menopausal Ms Cain not to mention the continuing PMS, etc.

Have I blamed the fucking wife in this post? No, I have not so stop mischaracterizing my posts and playing stupid.

I'm amused that the accusations against Herman Cain don't mention sex. This is the first sex scandal I've seen, rated PG.

So indiscretions of any kind wouldn't disqualify anyone, even Clinton, as long as their wife was menopausal? Sorry, I don't buy it.

Clinton was wrong because he lied to a grand jury, suborned testimony and had a pattern of violence. If you believe the women's stories without question you must believe at worst Cain settled to their satisfaction before court while Clinton lied.

The wife is immaterial, if the behavior is wrong for a single man, it's wrong for a husband. Cain did nothing wrong; Mandingo journalism is wrong.

You stupid shit. I never made any such claims. I'm no supporter of Cain and believe there is prima facie evidence of sexual harassment.

Even worse is you, who has about the worst reading comprehension problem on Topix. Has anyone ever accused you of being dumb?

So I guess you've decided not to defend Mr. Cain anymore. Good decision! I'm glad to have been of assistance!:)

Hint: Mr. Obama is ALREADY President of the US...

While the Republicans squabble over who has the best track record politically, who is the most rabid to outlaw abortion, and who has the 'shiniest character', the Democrats are only fielding ONE candidate.

Which party do you think will have the largest percentage of votes for ONE candidate?

Better get a calculator, pooch.

Obama has his faults, as do all humans. He's hardly the best President to ever hold the office, but he's doing the best he can with what he has to work with. Cain, on the other hand, can't even work with his own past.

He's no leader, and he won't get the nomination. Ron Paul is the only hope for a GOP candidate with a chance in hell of beating an incumbent President. Romney's too boring, Gingrich is too arrogant, Bachmann is too bat-shit crazy, Santorum's too creepy, and Perry is too...well...Texan.

I'm writing in my vote - IMO NONE of the assholes is MY President.

I never was defending him. Say, are you just ardently stupid or is your reading comprehension this poor? You're a joke.
