Illegal entry to the USA carrys a sentence of imprisonment up to 6 months in federal prison on the first offense, which makes it a crime, not a civil offense.
Civil offenses do not carry sentences of jail time, only monetary compenation.
Illegal entry to the USA is a crime.
Illegal presence in the USA, in violation of law, is a crime.
Using a fraudulent social security number on any document, including an I-9 form for employment, which all employees in the USA have to fill out is a FELONY FEDERAL CRIME.
As is:falsification of documents, Using false documents to be employed, Using false documents with intent to defraud the United States, Aggravated identity theft, Alien smuggling,(Income Tax Evasion exceedng $10,000), and illegal re-entry to the USA after prior deportatin are all felony crimes.
As are many other felony crimes committed by illegal aliens in this country.
Which law school did you attend? You should try to see if you can get your money back.

What is this dribble about document fraud have to do with unlawful presence? They are two different things. They should have explained that to you in law school.

Two separate CRIMES.
ALL illegal aliens commit the crimes of either illegal entry to the USA (a crime punishable by up to 6 months in federal prison), or the crime of violating the terms of their visa.
All illegal aliens commit the crime of being "Present in violation of law".
All illegal aliens who work in the USA commit the crimes of either tax evasion, or document fraud (which is a felony federal crime).
All illegal aliens commit more than one crime.
All illegal aliens are criminals.

Illegal aliens are not "immigrants". Immigration is a legal process which illegal aliens have not applied for, or followed.
Hotel and restaurant jobs and construction jobs are jobs Americans do work, have always worked, and will work.
FYI, there are not millions of "crop picking" jobs in the USA.
In fact, according to the USA Dept of Labor Statistics, there are only about 100,000 illegal aliens working at "crop picking" in the USA, there are 200,000 LEGAL green card H-1V visa holders picking crops and the remainder of farm jobs, over 200,000 are being done by LEGAL United States citizens.
Illegal aliens are not "picking the food" we eat, nor are they doing all of anything else for us.
Illegal aliens are not paying taxes on the illegal work they do, while they are in the USA illegally. They are either committing the crime of income tax evasion, or they are committing the crime of working with fraudulent ID/social security number, which is a felony crime. If they are using fraudulent SS numbers they are not "paying taxes" on their illegally earned income.
There would be no negative impact if all illegal aliens were deported, in fact it would clear out a lot of serious problems which are bankrupting our states, our cities, our counties, and our nation.
Over all, I can proudly say that now I'm employeing some of your citizens, I was able because I choosed to work hard!

Most of my ex-employers remarked they prefer me/us simply because we are hard-workers!(No my words) ;)

The American legal system is comprised of two very different types of cases, civil and criminal. Crimes are generally offenses against the state, and are accordingly prosecuted by the state. Civil cases on the other hand, are typically disputes between individuals

Key differences between a criminal case and a civil case:
1.Crimes are considered offenses against the state, or society as a whole.
Accordingly, crimes against the state are prosecuted by the state, and the prosecutor (not the victim) files the case in court as a representative of the state.
If it were a civil case, then the wronged party would file the case.

2.Criminal offenses and civil offenses are generally different in terms of their punishment. Criminal cases will have jail time as a potential punishment, whereas civil cases result in monetary damages.
Note that a criminal case may involve both jail time and monetary punishments in the form of fines.

3.A defendant in a criminal case is entitled to an attorney, and if he or she can't afford one, the state must provide an attorney.
A defendant in a civil case is not given an attorney and must pay for one, or else defend him or herself.

4.The protections afforded to defendants under criminal law are considerable (such as the protection against illegal searches and seizures under the 4th Amendment).
Many of these well known protections are not available to a defendant in a civil case.

Under US Law Code 8 USC 1325 - Improper entry by alien
Any alien who

(1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or
(2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or
(3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.

Entering the US illegally is a CRIME against the state, the sovereign nation of the United States, punishable by prison time, it is not a "civil offense", as you erroniously and continuously claim.

Why don't you just stick to cutting and pasting. As for you barnyard legal practice you are even contradicting yourself at this point.

A civil offense is a civil offense is a civil offense. Your ever changing punishments for unlawful presence do not change that.

People go to jail on civil offenses all of the time. If you want another example, harken back to your law school days and review "contempt of court".

You make it sound as if Hispanic people are still the ones coming into the country illegally. That is a thing of the past. Currently more Asians come into the country illegally than Hispanics.

Now what were you saying about Asians?

Here is a fun fact for you. Everybody knows that Hispanics voted for Obama by a 71 percent to 27 percent margin. Troglodytes attribute this to the immigration issue. What many people overlook is that Asians voted for Obama by a 73-26 margin.

It seems the Asians and Hispanics have more things in common than you thinkk they do.

the bottom line is that no matter who's president illegal aliens will never get amnesty because Americans won't let it happen. Obama won't do shit about illegals all he's doing is going on t.v. and making it seem like he's doing something so that he can blame republicans later for not allowing amnesty to pass just like he did in his first term . latinos voting for Obama because he will give amnesty to illegals now that's funny, the Washington post having a survey in which the majority of 1,023 people are in favor of amnesty and then saying the entire American population feels the same way is funny as hell.
