Trying relying on your guardian angel alittle more. The same thing almost happened to me last week. Something told me to stop, hit brakes. I did, car zips by right in front of me. I didn't see him, I looked down road before pulling out and didn't see him. Whoosh, it would have been my fault. it actually felt like someone took hold of my car to stop me. had to look in rear view mirror.
Glad to hear not hurt. You probably ache today. A nice warm soaking bath should take care of that. A little bubble bath, candles, husband serving you glass of wine/champagne while in tub. sounds nice. go girl!
I cry when I get scared like that also. Nice to have husbands shoulder to cry on.
Another car will find it's way to you. so for now i guess it's a bicycle and water to drink. your neighbors are so kind to you. so dust yourself off and keep chugging along.
Thank you for your kindness. We can't get another car, money is gone. Out of the question But we have senior buses that are cheap and very helpful.

I know we all have close calls, but this is the first mishap I've had since I was 31 yrs old. It scared me so much I'll never drive again.

Thanks once more for your kind encouragement. I still can't stop crying, I feel so bad. Love to you, Catholic Girl :)

Catholic Girl, I want to say goodbye. I can't take the hatred and anger here - on a religious forum!! You've been sweet and kind and I'll never stop being grateful for that. Please don't answer this as I don't want to see this forum again - I came here searching for some type of faith and all I got was hatred (not from you!) May God keep you as kind and compassionate as you've shown yourself to be.

I've simply given up.

Sherlayne, you are the only one that can help yourself. I pray you don't give up. You have so much to live for, that new grandbaby for one, your husband for another. It would be better for you to talk with someone in your area face to face. Please contact your local Priest, Rabbi whomever pleases you but contact that person no one deserves to be as miserable as you say your are.
Please relax, don't take life so seriously. God loves you now matter what you think.

are correct in their postings. good going folks, keep up the good work. just not so long next time.
Catholic Girl, I returned to talk to you, Pax, and a few others. No matter what anyone says, I am in no way trying to harm you! Or even influence you. I don't have many answers; I ask questions. You've been very decent to me and I thank you for that. I am not trying to "fool you" in any way, I don't even know why anyone would suggest such a thing. I talk to you and respect your opinions, even though we may not be of the same religion, because you seem to be kind to everyone. If I've been "snippy" at all to you in the past, it's only because I thought you thought ill of me. I assure you I am NOT a devil-worshiper or any other nonsense thing. That's about all I can tell you right now and I know you gave me an email address but I can't find it.

In any event, I hope life is going well for you. I admit I was totally surprised when you said you're close to 60!!!! I'm 67. Good luck to you but most of all - peace.

If you're helping others, that's a wonderful thing.

I think your advice is sound and I thank you for it. As for my being the only one who can help myself, don't you think I'd have done that already if I could? On the suggestion of a close friend, I have simply been praying to God that He'll take over my life since I no longer know what to do. I'm putting EVERYTHING in His Hands - I have no strength left and I lack the wisdom to help myself. The pain, both physical and spiritual, is overwhelming. I used to be one of the happiest people around but as we age we too often develop ill health and other sad things happen.

Of course I look VERY forward to the birth of my grandson - he's due in about a week! My DIL may have to have a C-section as she's tiny and this baby is big. All other things seem to be going well with this pregnancy, thank God!(She had a miscarriage a year ago Aug. & we were all devastated - that will always be my first grandchild; it was too early to know if it were a boy or girl, but that child was deeply mourned.)

Anyway, I'll gladly email you if you still want to give me the address. You and Pax and some others here are people whom I consider to be truly "religious", and you help others.

feel free to contact me via: [email protected] would enjoy hearing from you in private chit chat.
have you ever watched that lady, Joyce Meyers? She's a bible teacher, not a priest, reverend, etc.
Check her out sometime, she also has website out there, Joyce Meyers (or Myers). she also have many books. I watched/listened to her this past week-end and thought of you. Perhaps she can help bring you home again. quite informative she is.

DayStorm and Paul would rather see me dead. Perhaps they're right. But thanks for trying to help. You're not mean.

I don't want to see you dead, plus how will i know if you are? Relax a bit. please touch base with me at [email protected] ---do this right now so you don't forget.

i'll keep fighting for you because you are nice person and certainly Jesus Loves You.
have you checked out Joyce Meyers website. she has alot of good points, easy to understand how she talks about the bible and everyday life.

earlier today I read you thought something good was starting to happen to you, your prayers were beginning to work. this is a beginning for you.
lets dwell on the positive stuff here. forget the negative that just brings you down.

I emailed you and thanks. When I find that some people hate me enough to want to see me dead, that's quite a jolt. I've disliked people sometimes yes, but never wished to see anyone die - ever! The positive thing I'm not sure of is when I asked God to take over my entire life as I feel I can't handle it, I kind of felt a burden lift off me, I don't know if that was wishful thinking or what. But it's true - I can't help myself and my world is spinning out of control. I forgive a lot easier than many of these "Christians" do. If Paul thinks I'm somehow trying to "win" you away from him, that's downright silly! For what purpose would I do that? You're a grown, mature woman and "taking sides" would be ridiculous. Jumper and June don't seem to get along but I like BOTH of them. How do I forget the negative? Negativity is my whole life lately. I have nowhere to turn. I'm going to look up Joyce Meyers right now, thanks.

Let me warn you - if you befriend me, a lot of people will hate you for it.
