More proof that President Obama’s agenda for clean energy is needed more so now than ever before. To Hell with pipelines; wind turbines and solar panels is the future and president Obama will get us there.
That's right, Pat. More reliance on petroleum is almost as bad an idea as more reliance on coal; but those industries have enormous financial and political clout. They'll do all they can to fight clean energy and keep us dependent on foreign sources, as long as it profits them to have it that way.

Big oil spills in the Arctic, the Gulf, or American aquifers? They don't care! Let the taxpayer pay to clean it up.

<quoted text>how ya gonna make plastic with your solar panels and turbines? We will still need oil.(i actually use solar power, so I know it is a viable energy source...)
Oil for ENERGY. We will need oil for plastics and petrochemicals, which is another reason we shouldn't waste it all on gasoline, etc.
