Dec 5, 2011 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: New York Post

The state Department of Environmental Conservation is on course to kill any hope of a New York natural-gas boom with the death of 1,000 stalls.

What makes you think it will be cheap? Maybe cheap for the companies who will sell it to you. It will NOT be cheaper for us the consumer. Do some research.

The oil and gas industry improves local economies and provides jobs for Americans. To me, it's a no brainer. But NY State can never do anything logically. It's a dysfunctional state that wants to punish its residents until they finally have had enough of the abuse and move to other states.

Natural gas is already the cheapest most economical fuel we have. It is already drawing industry back to the USA I hope New york will not put any more restrictions on The Natural Gas producers and this needed fuel will be brought to market in New York soon.

why would new york allow fracking? it would create jobs, it would give an economic boost to the towns around the wellsites, it would help fuel the state. no sillies. new york would never want its inhabitants to benefit from anything. especially those of us that live upstate. keep us oppressed and broke. that's what the state government wants.

Yeah, let's let the gas industry rape NY and destroy the land, water, air and infrastructure so they can liquify our natural gas and ship it overseas to the highest bidder. Of course we will get a few temporary jobs and a bit of tax money out of the deal. If you people believe all of the propaganda from the energy conglomerate, I've got some lovely ocean view property to sell you in Idaho.

If you haven't watched the Documentary Film "Gasland" you should NOT be allowed to comment on Fracking. Watch the Film, then think again.
