"George Packard, who received a Bronze Star and Silver Star for his service as an infantryman in Vietnam, was arrested last December wearing his purple vestments after scaling an 8-foot chain-link fence to get into Duarte Square ...
"The protest was part of a growing rift between Trinity Church, which owns the lot, and protesters who had hoped the church would play a bigger supporting role in the movement."
TEC stopped supporting the movement when it tried to take over its property on Wall Street.
