I'm sorry for your loss. I too have lost someone close to us in the past year, and I wanted to share what has comforted me during that time. I've always been encouraged by the bible but the bible's promise about seeing my dead loved ones again brought much comfort to me. Jesus says in John 5:28,29 that all those in the memorial tombs would come out here on earth. But something that helped me to really draw closer to my Heavenly Father was the fact that he looks forward to bringing our loved ones back, Job 14:14,15, Job understood that God had a yearning to bring back those who had died. The bible is filled with this hope of seeing our loved ones again on earth. I hope you can find some comfort in these scriptures. My prayers go out to you and your family. Again I'm sorry for your loss.
