My grandpa was one of those figures that was larger than life. He was always a driving force behind what he upheld to be right and true. He never wavered in his faith. If there was anyone you knew you could go to in time of need besides God was my grandpa. Lots of people knew him for the pastor and man of God that he was, but in addition to that I knew him as the man who absolutely loved my grandma, Rosie Hernandez; he loved his children and grandchildren and proved that to me even in his last hours as he squeezed my hand and eminated love through his eyes.
He was a man who cared, a man who gave and a man who loved. I will never forget him as a long as I live and my only regret is that he won't be able be there to see me get married or to watch my kids grow in the ways of God that he so passionately fought for. Nevertheless, his legacy will be carried on in me, and in those who will come af ter me. I am his granddaughter, and I will ever strive to honor that legacy in the name of Jesus Christ.

We want to exress our appreciation in memory of Pastor David Hernandez of Family Life Center.
We feel greatful to God that we had the oppertunity to know such a great minister of theword of God, so full of the Holy Ghost.
Throught his teaching, preaching and counselling, he raised up an army of spiritual soldiers, that will reinforce his legacy from generation to generation, Acts 2:38, Eph. 2:20, 2Tim. 2:15.
Another great impression Pastor David made in our life, was because he is the founder of Life Line Outreach, which makes us understand the great love and respect, he had for the word of God, and how much he desired to share the word of salvation with the lost and rejected of this world.
We are also thankful to our lord that our Pastor, Steve Perez, who is a product of Paster, David's program Life Line Outreach.
Has now brought this same spiritual blessings to our area (Ventura County).
The army of the Lord Jesus Christ will keep growing.
Thank God for Pastor David Hernandez.........

Just under 30 years ago, Pastor came into my life. I can truly say that my life is what it is today because of the sacrifices of my Pastor and his family. Thank you Sis. Rosie for sharing such a great man of God with me. You are a beautiful Woman of God! I am so glad you are my friend.(Reyna, David Jr., Dina, Pastor Frank, Peter, and Pastor Isaac) Thank you for sharing your father with me. Because of your sacrifices, my life has been full of blessings. At 12 years old, I had no hope. Now I have hope in God. Pastor instilled and example of faith and wisdom that has carried me for 30 years. I love you all very much.
To Family Life Center, let's give back to our Pastor and his family by continuing on in the legacy he left for us. Pastor taught us to serve God in Spirit and in Truth. I am very proud to say I belong to Family Life Center. I will continue to live by Pastor's teachings and counseling. I will continue to take a stand for holiness the way my precious Pastor taught me. He will forever live in "MY HEART"

Oh behalf of the Hinojosa family we send our condolence and our Prayers to the Hernandez family. I remember years ago on one of my visits to my grandparents in East LA they took me to the store front. They were members there for many years until the Lord called them home. Bro Hernandez had a vision to save thoses who are lost and in need. You were like a farmer who plants the seeds in the fields and watch your harvest grow. And even when the wind blew your seeds away you never stop planting. For as a farmers works from sun up to sun down you were planting Gods kingdom. You made Belivers out of people who thought they had no hope. You are in God hands now and you feel no pain. It was an honor to have been a friend and our pastor.

Greetings in Jesus Name,
My wife and I would like to extend our condolence to the Hernandez family of Pastor David Hernandez. Our hearts ached when our pastor, Steve Perez called the night that pastor David Hernandez passed on to be with the Lord. It was a bitter sweet moment to hear of pastor's passing. Bitter because we will miss him; Sweet because he went into eternity victoriously. When we received the phone call of his passing it felt as a blow. Words seem so inadequate, but with these few words come from our hearts filled with love and sympathy on the loss of your beloved husband, father, grandpa, pastor. Weíll miss him too. I am honored to say that I was allowed to have his men, of lifeline outreach under my supervision as head usher of our conventions for many years. Without hesitation he would give what he had, his time, wisdom and much, much more. He was a man of honor, integrity and righteousness. He will truly be missed. To Sister Rosie, His Wife, Pastor Frank, and the rest of the family, we stand next to you to keep your fatherís legacy alive,
"What meaneth these stones"
Our Love and condolences to you all,
In Jesus Name

I am so greatful to have known Pastor David Hernandez and even more thankful to have had his family as very good friends. I was blessed to have been a member of his brother Daniel Hernandez's congregation in El Monte, California and to have had the opportunity to work with Isaac and Pete on their project "Glory and Honor" as a choir member and director.
May God Bless Sis. Rosie and the family as they carry on his vision. I love them all very much. Thank you Dina for our great friendship!
Another great man gone on to be with the Lord! See you soon Pastor...

My condolences to Sis. Rosie, The Hernandez Family and the Congregation of Family Life Center. I too was sadden to hear about the news of Pastor that Tuesday night. I was sadden to hear that Pastor was gone. Not going to see him in his office on his chair counseling and ministering to his people as he did on a daily basis. Those are my memories of him, always ministering with people to make their walks with the Lord just that better. Because of Pastorís teachings, guidance and example of a true man of God, I was able to marry one of the most precious man a woman could ever meet. I know ďMarshallĒ was the man he was because of Pastorís example of how to love a woman and how to serve the Lord. We are all the people we are in God, because of him! I will miss the fact that his door and his heart was always open for me, even thought I was no longer a member at FLC. I know if I needed his counsel or needed to talk to him. He was always just a phone call away. Thank you Sis. Rosie and Hernandez family for sharing your husband and father with the church. Marshall and I always, felt part of your family. Pastor touched so many lives, that we will never be the same. Pastor you were the BEST! We love you and say hello to Marshall for me! Iím sure he was waiting for you at the Gates of Heaven ready to usher you in!

There are so many memories to select from. One of my very first would be back to when the church was known as East LA Church on Olympic Blvd. I visited with my family and fell in love with the liberty in which the brethren worshiped. Knowing where most of these men came from and the gratefulness in their hearts. It was and is an awesome place to worship with liberty. Later when I became of age to drive, every Sunday afternoon I would drive to Family Life Center after attending my home church in South Gate. Soon after I moved to Whittier and became a member. I was there for 7 years. Like everyone else, Pastor took me in and accepted me into his church family. It was his fatherly love and concern that helped me through my most difficult times. It was his guidance that aided me into making life-changing decisions, and his counsel is still embedded in my heart. Truly a man of God- whom we will never forget. We love you Pastor!
My prayers go out to Sister Rosie and children. For Pastorís absence will leave a great void in our hearts.

We were blessed to be in the memorial service last night for Bro. Hernandez. I have fond memories of my father, Bro. Paul Ares, and Bro. Hernandez working together during the early years of the Life-Line Program.

To see the many lives that have been eternally touched by this ministry, over the years, is an inspiration to us all.

God bless the Hernandez and FLC families, you are all in our prayers.

I'm so heart broken to hear My pastor is gone. I haven't seen him in a few years, but he has always been my pastor since I was thirteen years old. He guided me and was there for me in every way a great pastor should be. And even though he was hard on me sometimes, I knew it was because he loved me and wanted me to continue serving and giving God the best. I love you pastor and I will miss you greatly. Thank you for sacrificing your time and even at times your family to be a great and wonderful servant of God. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family.

My deepest condolences go out to sister Rosie,Frank, Isaac and the entire Hernandez family. Pastor Hernandez was a true servant-leader, he served our country with honor but more importantly he served the people of God with all his heart. I am reminded of the parable of the master who gave his servant five talents and when he returned the servant had doubled his talents. It's safe to say that Pastor Hernandez more than doubled the talents he was given by God.

I have never been to a wake where so many people were present. Pastor Frank, you preached the sermon of the century. I hadn't jumped or danced in a long time, but the presence of God was so strong while you were speaking that I had no choice. My friend, you are truly annointed to preach the word. You made your dad proud! Isaac, you have some mad MC skills if your intentions were to have a celebration/revival service it was nothing short of complete success.

You all did an awesome job of honoring your father with dignity and pride. I was blessed to be there.

Isaiah 66:12-14
For this is what the LORD says:
"I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flooding stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm and dandled on her knees.As a mother comforts her child,so will I comfort you;

Our prayers will continue to go out to your entire family, we love you and we will always remeber all of you.

With Love,

I would like to thank everybody for your prayers and support and the love you have so shared with my parents as they have given of themselves to the membership of Family Life Center Apostolic Church, Lifeline Outreach, and their many many friends. You all were their life and the purpose my father would rise every morning and succumb to the many perils of a man of his quality and demeanor. You all were the reason my father would rise each morning so early, pray the way that he did, preach how he loved, and lived so that no questions would ever be asked of his commitment to his cause and purpose.

My father has left now and as his time came his message never changed. He gathered all of his sons and daughters in the room, and encouraged us to be who we are and to never ever forget who we are and who we serve. That is the legacy of my father.

The enemy rejoiced as my father took his last breath, but little did he know that his 6 children, 25 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren were standing at his feet picking up his banner and ready to take it to the next level and beyond.

To everyone that has given so much of your time in his last hours and have served my mother and family at this very special time please understand how much that means too all of us and how precious a memory you all are to us. Our entire family is extremely grateful and loves you from the bottom of our heart.

Please continue to support my mother as she continues to minister at FLC and my baby Brother as he quickly becomes a man and assumes the immense responsibility left to him by my father.

Your prayers are appreciated so much.

Thank You
