Do what kids always talk about wanting to do to their schools: burn it down.

I go to this school and all the students and most of the teachers are completely outraged. No one in the school has told us a single thing. The teachers don't want to say anything because they don't want to risk their jobs. Please help us make a statement, at the least, by signing this petition: http://www.change.org/petitions/diocese-of-co...

OMG I went to Bishop Watterson High School in the 70's. I left as it was one of the most degrading experiences of my life. Mean spirited was the norm. Sorry to see it has not grown since then. But then I have also become a recovered catholic too so.....

I thought it was supposedly okay with the sick, misogynistic, authoritarian RCC hierarchy that people would be homosexual.

Is there evidence in the obituary that the woman is sexually active in her private life or same sex relationships?

No.

Church-affiliated private schools have the right to hire and fire based on their twisted and idiotic beliefs.

While I do not share their delusions, I support their right to do this.

Perhaps more people will wake up to the fact that the beliefs and policies of their mythologies and churches are completely irrational.

And perhaps more of them will just leave the church.

That may not be the case in this case. The Columbus anti-discrimination ordinance apparently does not exempt church-affiliated employers, only the church as an employer.
