Well then show me a picture of evolution as well. Is it on face book?
Proverbs 17:28
Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
Proverbs 18:2
A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.
Confucius say… never argue with a fool… he may be doing the same thing.
It would be impossible to show you all the pictures and evidence that proves evolution, but they are on display at museums worldwide if you care to take the time to look at them and understand the theory in it's entirety, also there are many you tube videos you could watch that are broken down into laymans terms making them easier to understand . I think the simplest example of evolution is that of the flu virus, each year vaccinations must change because the virus evolves through natural selection and adapts to the drugs used to fight the virus. those evolve at much higher rates because they are single cells whereas a more complex form would be multi-celled organisms that evolve at a slower rate. I would recommend opening a basic middle school biology book for a better understanding.

I think it's important to add that evolution is not the reason why I do not believe there is a god. Lack of convincing evidence supporting the existence of a god is the reason why I don't believe there is a god. As for evolution, there is such a overwhelming amount of evidence supporting it, it would be perverse to deny it !

So why has man always had a need to believe in a higher power, spirits, boogymen, whatever? A very big question with no easy answer. Mans need to be included in a social group? Mans insecurities being played on with scary stories? Greed? Ego? Too much misplaced imagination? All the above and more? Either way it has done more to promote hate and prejudice than any one other factor in world.

Maybe it has, but socialism, communism, and liberalism have killed far more than religion.

How can you deny all of the beauty in this life and mirracles that happen every day. I know their is a God and we all have a purpose on this earth. I am standing firm and living my life to please him. More people, I feel need to believe because no one has any values or self respect anymore and the generations coming up are really out of hand. It is sad. We all need to teach our children and have some kind of love for our neighbors here on this earth. I know a lot of people that are good, hard working family oriented people, and I wish more of the world was like that. Technology- too advanced , Money, we can hardly afford anything, We need to get back to the good life, farming and church on Sundays and good family gatherings

Religion doesn't have a corner on love, self-respect, beauty, purpose, values, good life, farming, family gatherings...
I see many examples of purportedly religious people behaving badly (i.e. some trash talkers demeaning others right here on topix).
Nothing wrong with believing in god but be careful of an us vrs them holier than thou mentality and the false presumption that non-belief is the reason for everything wrong in this world.

Was that the one about Abraham wanting to off his son to prove his faith to Gawd? Christ, what a perverted belief system that is. The bible is supposed to be about analogies and matophores, but Gawd, what kind of matophore is that? How to teach your children that their expendable?

actually, this is not a true statement. most wars have been based on some religion or religious belief, and a lot of killing has taken place. the inquisitions, the crusades, everything to do with the roman empire, the jews in WWII, all the death in the middle east, european and early american treatment of the north american natives, the practical extinction of the south american natives by the spanish, and on and on. tons and tons of murder. all in the name of one god or the other. read up on history. you are not very educated. and christianity is the worst. all in the name of something you can't see, hear or touch. it is the biggest lie there is in this world, and you bit...hook, line and sinker.
