I think we need some gumshoes over at those roads to investigate.

“We believe it will erupt again someday, but we have no idea when,” analysis team scientist James Farrell of the University of Utah said.

But the chances of it erupting soon are unlikely.

“The chance of that happening in our lifetimes is exceedingly insignificant,” said Peter Cervelli, associate director for science and technology at the U.S. Geological Survey’s Volcano Science Center in California.

~~~~~~~~~~
First they say they have no idea when it will erupt, then they they say that its "exceedingly insignificant" that it won't happen in our lifetime.
Um Yea... this guy missed his chance at being a politician.
One thing is for sure, if that volcano ever erupts we may as well have a good seat to watch it from. And as a ice age usually follows eruptions from super volcanoes, global warming will finally come to a end.
What would Al Gore do with himself then?
You're confused at the most basic level of syntax and logic on that. As is fitting for someone who wishes to conflate what is perfectly well know about the climate by everyone with "Al Gore."
Nah... those are two conflicting statements, read it again. You being the typical left wing aficionado, I would have thought you would appreciate that.
Why do I get the feeling you thought that I was being disingenuous about uncle Al? I was just recognizing the mans greatness is all...
No, they are not. You cannot think.
You can know something will not happen in the next two decades and simultaneously have no idea when it _will_ happen.
You're confused.
The entire qualified scientific community, the Pentagon, the CIA, the UN, the corporate world all know climate change is real and is human caused. All you can do is obsess over Al Gore to try and efface all this. And that's what passes for "cleverness" and "intellectual honesty" on the anti rational right wing. It's repellent.
That right there is the most ignorant thing ever posted on the subject of climate change.
I have to wonder if it was purposefully stupid it's so far gone, even taking into account the history of the source.
Well, professor...perhaps you can explain it to all the eyes here how the atmosphere has anything to do with the internal temperature of this planet..I'll wait here for that.
Perhaps you could take a fourth grade science class and then get some Creationist "scientist" to explain the fault in your very premise.
Tee baggrz trash never fails to astound.
Perhaps you will someday step up and actually answer a question as it was asked instead of taking your usual curtsy and still trying to butch up..in that skirt.
Who anywhere said that climate change is changing the temperature of the core of the earth? Be specific, because deranged christianists are not supposed to lie.
Where did you dream up that confused notion? Be specific.
Then take your remedial fourth grade class.
Also, educated people generally don't lower themselves to inform or argue with fundie mouthbreathers about the earth being billions of years old or about birth certificates.
Because it's a disgusting lowering of one's intellectual standards to do so when dealing with idiots who are anti rational on issue after issue after issue.
So...
Yellowstone is feeling the competition pressure from Centralia, PA of being the ecological disaster headlines.
Melting roads? Yep, Centralia.
Sudden earth collapse into a fiery hellhole? Centralia.
Geysers? Yellowstone. Until the Centralia fires hit the natural springs and water mains.
Impact to a region or the nation? Centralia when that mine fire hit the main coal vein in the Northeast. Yellowstone needs another 10k years at least.
Yellowstone is now just begging for attention. It's the Kim Kardashian of natural disaster.
It is so real they had to stop calling it global warming because it stopped warming 17 years ago. Now if Yellowstone blows you are going to see real climate change.
