I remember clearly the fires of 1968 and the flood that followed on January 19th 1969.
At the time I was a Senior at Glendora High.
We worked everyday clearing the mud from inside of our home, swimming pool and under our home, which was on a raised foundation.
Our community and the surrounding communities really came together offering their help and support.
I hope the hills above Glendora are seeded properly before the rains come, because I don't wish that experience on anyone!
Wishing all residents being affected by this fire the best of luck.
