Don't Call Them "Climate Deniers." Call them "Climate Optimists."

Las Vegas is parched. A 14-year drought has left Lake Mead, the local water source, dangerously low.

The highest level of recorded sea ice for July ever recorded in human history has got to be global warming. Autumn like cold snaps... two of them in July... has got to be global warming. Cooling of the atmosphere for eighteen years has got to be global warming. Increases in polar bear populations has got to signify global warming and the impending mass extinction of species. Quiet hurricane seasons for years has got to be a result of global warming.

Thousands of birds (including bald eagles) slaughtered by green energy every month has got to be suicide by global warming.

More people smoking more marijuana gives them special insight into climate change.

1/3 of the world's human population doomed forever to living in mud huts, etc. without electricity is justified because of global warming. Funny how global warming policies and eugenics policies go hand in hand.

It makes sense to be good husbandmen of the Earth. No sane person denies that.

The details are terrifying..

CO2 emissions from fossil fuel combustion and industrial processes contributed about 78 per cent of the total GHG emission increase from 1970 to 2010, with a similar percentage contribution for the period 20002010.

About half of cumulative anthropogenic CO2 emissions between 1750 and 2010 have occurred in 23 the last 40 years. Annual anthropogenic GHG emissions have increased between 2000 and 2010, with this increase arising directly from energy supply (47 per cent), industry (30 per cent), transport (11 per cent) and buildings (3 per cent). Accounting for indirect emissions raises the contributions of the buildings and industry sectors.

IPCC Presents Assessment on Measures to Mitigate Climate Change

By: UN Environment Programme (UNEP)

Berlin, Germany, 13 April 2014 The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the group of the world's leading climate change scientists established by the UN General Assembly and working under the auspices of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Meteorological Organization, has just released in Berlin, after 6 years of intensive work reviewing all available science, its 2014 assessment on measures to mitigate climate change.

Among its main findings is that the concentration of Green House Gasses (GHGs) gasses which cause climate change have grown more quickly during the last decade that in each of the previous three decades.

Globally, economic and population growth continue to be the most important drivers of increases in CO2 emissions from fossil fuel combustion. The contribution of population growth between 2000 and 2010 remained roughly identical to the previous three decades, while the contribution of economic growth has risen sharply.

Scenarios show that to have a likely chance of limiting the increase in global mean temperature to two degrees Celsius, means lowering global greenhouse gas emissions by 40 to 70 per cent compared with 2010 by mid-century, and to near-zero by the end of this century.

You're insane, arrogant and self-centered... plus, you can't read.

CO2 is measured in the atmosphere as a couple hundred parts per million, but you'd have us believe it causes climate change. It's idiocy, especially when considering there has been no global warming for eighteen years, though some of your moonbats said we'd have cities under water by now.

On any given day, increases in emissions in any area can be shown to be huge percentage increases and decreases. Percentages can be played; this has been repeatedly shown to be the basis of every model of the global warming scam failing to date in every projection and getting worse all the time.

Denying 1/3 of the world's population electricity and advancement because you want to believe in fantasy is the real anthropogenic pollution. The weather patterns and water vapor will always "correct" any perceived anomaly, as water vapor has always moderated climate. All of your projections have been proven false. All of them are exaggerations you morons use to cheat people out of their money and then you don't spend it on what you say. You're liars and cheats.

The IPCC has been proven to be a politically motivated and commonly unscientific group. Their most recent report has resulted in more and more climatologists abandoning the IPCC positions and the global warming lie. Their extremism and illogic have driven scientists away from them. There have been periods in Earth's history with CO2 levels much higher than now and the only thing that happened was it enhanced plant growth.

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is the leading international body for the assessment of climate change. It was established by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) in 1988 to provide the world with a clear scientific view on the current state of knowledge in climate change and its potential environmental and socio-economic impacts. In the same year, the UN General Assembly endorsed the action by WMO and UNEP in jointly establishing the IPCC.

The IPCC is a scientific body under the auspices of the United Nations (UN). It reviews and assesses the most recent scientific, technical and socio-economic information produced worldwide relevant to the understanding of climate change. It does not conduct any research nor does it monitor climate related data or parameters.

Thousands of scientists from all over the world contribute to the work of the IPCC on a voluntary basis. Review is an essential part of the IPCC process, to ensure an objective and complete assessment of current information. IPCC aims to reflect a range of views and expertise. The Secretariat coordinates all the IPCC work and liaises with Governments. It is supported by WMO and UNEP and hosted at WMO headquarters in Geneva.

The IPCC is an intergovernmental body. It is open to all member countries of the United Nations (UN) and WMO. Currently 195 countries are members of the IPCC. Governments participate in the review process and the plenary Sessions, where main decisions about the IPCC work programme are taken and reports are accepted, adopted and approved. The IPCC Bureau Members, including the Chair, are also elected during the plenary Sessions.

Because of its scientific and intergovernmental nature, the IPCC embodies a unique opportunity to provide rigorous and balanced scientific information to decision makers. By endorsing the IPCC reports, governments acknowledge the authority of their scientific content. The work of the organization is therefore policy-relevant and yet policy-neutral, never policy-prescriptive.

Not only is global climate change real, it's also a result of human activity.
Windmills to not wipe out birds, including Bald Eagles, by the thousands, or even the hundreds for that matter.
We will outgrow oil, and coal soon. It makes sense to have some other methods of energy already working.
But getting pissed off at windmills and solar panels is also a good solution to the possibility of not having enough food for the world.
