Looks like the lava level is down a bit on its historic highpoint about 3 years ago (when it was a perched pond with spatter rim & lava overflow apron).
Looks like it sunk a bit as a result of a minor rift event, may be the same rift event that resulted in an eruption of Nyamuragira a couple of years ago.
Needs to grow a bit. The volume isn't big enough to plate over the other half of Goma (which is still feeling a bit left out). Should be close to the plate over time when the locals in that part of the world start going gaga again (still got the aftermath @ present in the surrounds of Goma from the last gaga outbreak before the last plate over event).
