This weekend's paddling trip to Lake Marion was nearly perfect. There was fantastic weather, beautiful scenery, excellent food, good company, and a venue with interesting history.

Your story has really peeked my interest. I live in Indian Land, SC about 15 miles South of Charlotte.
Please advise the best put in for kayakers to see the ghost town and church.
